Wow, totally impressed with the Pit Boss!! Its extremely lightweight for a high quality, safe helmet. There is almost zero wind buffer and its a half helmet. This is probably due to it sitting very low on the head. The visor and shorty shield are awesome and very easy to change shields, no tools required. The new ratcheting adjustment is very effective, but took a little getting used to. Now I love it! Its a Bell, through and through. Buy one and love it.

This port mount is fantastic! Installation was super easy and you can put it anywhere with an inch of clearance behind it. I was able to hide it on the side cover under the corner of the seat. It is almost unnoticeable and it keeps the wires from rubbing around on painted surfaces. If you have Gerbings and are tired of fighting with wires, buy this kit!

Is the visor on this helmet removable? can it be used without the visor?
The visor is removable and could be worn without, but it would look outta place. The visor looks fantastic and it perfectly placed to block the sun with little head tilt.
