Fit
Small
True to Size
Large
The Tour Master Senora Air Jacket is my first Tour Master product. After spending 600 miles with this jacket, I can confidently say, " I made the right choice!" The fit is true to size and finish of the jacket is outstanding. The sizing chart was spot on. I used my true chest size for fitment. Don't worry about jacket size, go with the chest size. It seems the size goes up one level, due to the 3-piece jacket system. Follow the size chart! I'm a bigger guy, 275 lbs, 5' 10", 52" chest, it worked for me.
This 3/4 length jacket is a three piece system consisting of the outer mesh jacket (with armor and reflective trim), an insulated liner and a waterproof liner that can be assembled to your needs or liking. So far my riding temps have been from the low 40's to the mid 70's. I've utilized all three pieces and have been extremely comfortable so far. I did a short ride with just the mesh jacket. The air flow was incredible (the temps are still too cool for just the mesh). I have not rode in any appreciable rain so far, so my wet weather experience with this jacket is yet to be experienced. Assembling the various layer(s) takes a few minutes. Not a big deal.
The Senora jacket has various waist and arm adjustments to keep the jacket in place and looking good with or without the various liners in place. The 3/4 length is great! It's not a short waist jacket nor is it some "parka or duster"! A lot of issues with a short waist jackets is they creep up the backside and allow wind and rain to blow down into places that are at best, annoying! This 3/4 jacket is just slightly longer at the waist and has a slightly longer "extended tail section" that keeps you comfortable and covered!. There's no excessive material that "bunches-up" and gets in the way.
The arm cuffs have a generous opening and easy to adjust Velcro adjusters. I thought the arm length was a fraction too long at first. Then after stretching out on the bike (Triumph Sprint GT), the length was nearly perfect. The collar is comfortable, seals well and does not interfere with the helmet. Pockets you ask? There are several pockets located outside and inside the jacket. They're deep and generous to easily carry all your various personal effects. The pockets have various combinations of zippers and Velcro to keep things secure. I can access the pockets easily with my gloves on.
My riding buddy has a Tour Master Intake Air Jacket. The Senora Air jacket is the longer 3/4 version of the Intake Air waist jacket. He's had the Intake Air for four years+ and loves it! Me?, the 3/4 length Senora fits me better. He's a trimmer build, I'm a lot more beefy! I chose gunmetal gray color. Looks great and what the heck, I look slimmer in the jacket!
To sum it up, the fit, function and looks of the Tour Master Sonora Air jacket are top notch. Are there better jackets out there? You bet! But getting to that last 20 percent of nirvana, will cost you hundreds of dollars more. This jacket (or the Intake Air jacket) are a very big bang for the buck. I did well!.... Griff
