Overall this a a great boot! And, I use the word boot purposefully. Despite the killer F1 shoe style (very similar styling to Puma's Speed Cat), it is certainly more of a boot than a shoe. The boot has great ankle protection while still allowing plenty of front to back movement of you foot. This provides a big upgrade over just where a traditional work boot.
I bike mainly for to commuting purposes so purchased these to give me a more comfortable boot to wear throughout the day once I got to work. These are perfect for that, they look great!
I have found a couple minor issues with the boot. First, the boot's sole tends to vibrate ever-so-slightly on my 650 twin. This is just a minor annoyance at certain RPMs. Secondly, they have a fairly uncomfortable sole when standing for long time periods. This, however, could easily be solved by some in soles.
If your looking for a basic upgrade in protection over wearing tennis shoes. This is a great boot. You hop off your bike anywhere, and feel comfortable. I'd highly recommend this boot!

Bell Vortex Helmet Nothing beats a solid color to highlight the stylish design of a helmet. The Bell Vortex is available in a choice of gloss black, matte black, white or silver four classic color choices in the riding spectrum. Developed in Bells state-of-the-art Santa Cruz, California design center, the Vortex borrows heavily from its big brother the Star. With a solid compliment of features the Bell Vortex is a great choice as a primary helmet for everyday use that can also transition to the occasional track day. A killer price rounds out the package and gives you a big bang for your buck. Features Velocity Flow Ventilation system with FlowAdjust for maximum stability and temperature control with minimal noise and buffeting Lightweight composite polycarbonate alloy shell Contour cheek pads (by means of stacked foam, not hand cut) Removable and washable, antibacterial/antimicrobial interior comfort liner Padded Wind collar to drastically reduce wind/road noise Integrated speaker pockets for audio speakers ClickRelease for the fastest, easiest, tool-free shield swaps ever Clear NutraFog II superior anti-fog, anti-scratch and UV protected shield. Note Bell Vortex Helmet may come with either the magnetic strap keeper or standard chin strap snaps RevZilla's Opinion of the The Bell Vortex Helmet The Bell Vortex Helmet has grown to be one of the top selling and more ubiquitous 200 sport helmets in the RevZilla family. The light weight, Snell Rating and ability to use the Bell Photochromic shield allow the Bell Vortex Helmet to cover a lot of the bases the typical sport or track day rider is looking for in a reasonably priced helmet. Many times we see this type of functionality only available in helmets over the 300 mark. In the 3/4 or tuck position the Bell Vortex Helmet will provide a great solution in just about any spirited or sport riding scenario. If you find a graphic or color that suits your taste and you have an intermediate oval head shape, the Bell Vortex is a great option.

I bought this helmet a month ago as a passenger helmet and as a "backup" helmet should I ever drop my Shoei Quest helmet.
Overall, it fits great. I have a long oval head, and the helmet fits very similarly to my Shoei Quest. The padding is great, and the ventilation is adequate. The black matte finish, and aerodynamics, of the helmet always gets compliments from people who see it.
My only complaint for the helmet is how noisy the helmet can be at highway speed. I ride a Kawasaki ER-6N that has an upright riding position. In this position the helmet has quite a bit of wind noise compared to my Shoei Quest. However, if I tuck in, as if on a sport bike, the wind noise drop significantly. This is not really a knock against the helmet itself, but rather the riding position it was designed for.
With all that in mind, I would be more inclined to recommend this helmet to someone riding a more traditional riding position sport bike. Nevertheless, the features and safety ratings (DOT and SNELL) of the helmet make it a great buy regardless of your riding position.
Yes, I recommend this product.
