Yes, they make a little noise but nothing ridiculous. They're a good boot and live up to the Sidi name. Great looks and lots of protection for an Adventure boot. I don't think they trap air any worse than other motorcycle boots... they're boots!!
I'd recommend them, highly.

It's got great style... Do you lose a little bit of noise protection because of the style? Yes, but there's always wind noise... put your ear plugs in!! Comes with a nice "Back pack" style bag, a tinted shield and great instructions. All in all, a great lid for the money that gets a lot of attention at the stop light and scares the heck out of grandma at the gas station! LOL!
