Icon One Thousand Elsinore Boots The Icon 1000 Elsinore's five-strap, alloy-buckle chassis, stamped metal heel plate, and internal steel shank combine for a serious dose of moto-x homage. A medial entry zipper, allocated from Paratrooper jump boots, is the only luxury the Elsinore will allow itself. A modern relic from an era when men were iron and tanks were steel. i ride a 2008 road king so the aforementioned high toe has no bearing. the boot looks amazing as i stated. however, the one drawback is standing around for any length of time. because the boot size is accurate to my shoe size they fit perfectly, but i could use some kind of gel insole. i recommend ordering a half size large to leave room for a soft insole. my feet were aching from standing for a couple of hours. i must say that perhaps after they break in and i get used to them, this problem could go away. so yes, so far these boots rock! after i wear them for another month i will write an updated review. if at that point i like them i am going to get another back-up pair.
