I ride a lot. I do over 20K miles a year easy. I've gone through 2 N-103's before and to many visors to count. I was excited to get an N-104. Like my N-103's a Mirrored visor is a must. The smoke visors are good for blocking bright light but do not block the UV rays that actually heat up your skin. I live in Las Vegas and you have to do everything you can to stay cool. So blocking the UV rays to keep the heat off your skin is a must and not just blocking bright light. Only the mirror visors do this from Nolan. I've tried the Silver and Blue mirrored Visors on the N-103 and since I got the Voyage Blue/white/black N-104 I had to go with the Blue Mirrored to match. It was an awesome match too. Loots great! As with the N103 Mirrored visor the N104 version blocks the UV rays as expected and keeps the heat off your skin when riding in Las Vegas. The tinting is adequate, but I have to say does not seem as dark as the N103 versions. It’s good, just not as dark as the N103 version. To help with this, I also bought the smoked pinlock insert that helps a lot with darkening the bright light. The smoked pin lock with the mirrored visor provides the best of both worlds and I strongly suggest this combination when riding in bright sunny areas with a lot of heat. Using this combination also allows you to put the clear pinlock insert that is included on the clear included visor for perfect night riding too. A Win-Win situation.
