I am a daily rider and have been generally happy with my N-104 helmet and the B4 com kit. I previously owned the N-103 helmet and com gear and this was the primary reason for my purchase of the updated helment and com.
I had read mixed reviews of the B4 system and my expectations were for an improvement in functionality of the system. It does improve on the previous com gear, but there is one area that can still be improved, sound reproduction. The headset speakers are the weak point in this setup. You just can't hear anything at highway speeds. Meaning that useability is limited to lower speeds.
Don't get me wrong, I still like the system and would buy it again (I hate the idea of the add on gear that mounts to the side of the helmet).
Using the gear is simple enough, although I have not tried the bike to bike feature (I ride solo mostly).
The bottow line is this is a great com and helmet setup, just don't expect sound reporduction to be like your headphones at home.

Michelin Pilot Road 3 Front Tires Building on the tremendous reputation Michelin has built over the years, the Michelin Pilot Road 3 Tire is the successor to the award winning Pilot Road 2. With the Michelin Pilot Road 3 Motorcycle Tire you are really getting 2 tires in 1, by integrating a soft rubber compound on the tread shoulders with a wear-resistant compound down the middle, Michelin gives you the best of both worlds. The Pilot Road 3 is a dual compound sport-touring radial tire. Revolutionary X-Sipes technology maximizes wet traction Michelins newest technology delivers all-weather performance without compromising tread life or handling Patented innovation resulting from years of research and development Sipes increase the tread's drainage capacity Sipes generate pressure at the edges of the sipe blade, which helps to break through water film Two compound technology combines tread life and cornering grip 2CT incorporated into all tire sizes, front and rear Wider soft-compound shoulders on the front tire, compared to its predecessor High performance and environmentally sound 100 non-aromatic-oil rubber compound

On my third set of PR-3 tires. Long life, fantastic wet traction, great grip. What is not to like?
The front tire I just replaced had over 12,000 miles. The dual compound tire wore well, with the last several thousand causing wear more on the sides than in the center (this is a dual compound tire, so it is expected).
IMHO you can't go wrong with this setup for your sport touring bike.

 Nolan N104 Action Helmet
Nolan N104 Action Helmet
Nolan N104 Action Helmet Nolan N104 Helmets represent an evolutionary step for Nolan as they replace the much touted N103 Helmet. When compared the older N103, the Nolan N104 Helmet offers a helmet which is much lighter (7oz), features a lower profile through the use of multiple shell sizes, better aerodynamics, as well as a much larger viewport for increased visibility. The (patented) chin guard rotation movement with elliptical trajectory makes it possible to keep the total size of the helmet's front section to a minimum, when the chin guard is open. The sail effect is consequently highly reduced and riding comfort is still guaranteed, even when the chin guard is lifted. The new ultrawide eyeport is the largest of any Nolan helmet, both vertically and laterally for maximum field of view. The AIRBOOSTER ventilation system is equipped with an air intake in the chin bar, another intake in the brow and two rear extractors at the rear. The inner comfort lining includes removable cheekpads, inner liner, neckroll and chin curtain and is easily removable and washable as well as antifungal and antibacterial. New, redesigned comfort liner also accommodates eyeglasses much more easily than before. All Nolan N104 helmets are also N-COM B4 ready ( N-COM B4 is designed expressly for the N104 and is sold separately). Shell Features Injected polycarbonate GE Lexan shell 7oz lighter than the Nolan N103 Two Shell engineering allows Nolan N104 to offer sizes from 2XS to 3XL (2XS-LG and XL-3XL) Dimensionally correct sizing allows ample cubic volume in chin/nose area Faceshield Features Face shields are now sized to fit the two different shell sizes (2XS-LG and XL-3XL) Ultra wide eye port opening is the largest on any Nolan helmet for superior visibility Shield is changed by a simple push button mechanism Pinlock shield included with each helmet VPS (Vision Protection System) is new slider bar to lower, push button release for instant retraction VPS lens is scratch and fog resistant Chin Bar Features Centromatic chin guard opening mechanism requires dual action, simultaneous action to prevent accidental opening Dual action opening mechanism is positioned in the centre of the chin guard and allows for easy, one-handed opening Ventilation N104 has new AIRBOOSTER ventilation system, ensures optimal ventilation where is is most required Air intake in the chin guard draws air in and onto the inside of the faceshield 3 position top vent (closed, crown vent, crown/brow vent) 2 venturi exhaust ports at rear of helmet New plastic vent tube channels in EPS disperse cool air throughout the helmet interior Inner Liner Features removable cheek pads, inner liner, neck roll and wind protector The inner padding of the new N104 is easily removable and washable and antibacterial The shape of the inner comfort padding facilitates eyeglass wearing Reflective insert at the centre of the roll neck further improves the rider's visibility at night Neck roll can be removed easily, for more comfort in the warmer months Other Features N-Com Communication System compatible (sold separately) Features new Microlock2 quick-release retention system Microlock2 consists of a plastic ergonomic opening lever, and of a second aluminium toothed and holding lever Microlock2 minimizes the possibility of unintentional opening while still making it ergonomic and easy to use Meets or exceeds D.O.T. standards

Having need to replace my N-103, and having read the reviews of the new N-104, I was not disappointed when purchasing this helmet. The weight reduction alone is worth the price of admission. Add to that the helmet wind noise and ventilation are significantly improved.
My only complaint is the material used in the liner, it is a little scratchy on hot days.
I also purchased the N-Com B4 gear with this helmet, and I wrote a review on it.
My bottom line is that you can't beat the combination of this helmet and com gear for fit, function and features.

I have over 13,000 miles on these PR-3 tires on my BMW R1200RT. By far these have lasted longer than any other tire I have tried. Even with the amount of miles I have they STILL have enough tread life in them that I should get 15,000 miles out of them. Most all of these miles have been one up riding, commuting to work.
If you are looking for value for your hard earned dollar, these will serve you well. In a month or so when it is time for my next set of tires the Michelin Pilot Road 3 will be the only tire I will consider.
