I can't say this helmet is the best ever. However, it is the best I've owned.
It feels like it shouldn't be a dirt helmet. I would sometimes rather wear this than my street helmets in their own application.
Any size goggle will fit this helmet. For snow/ice racing use, I have some large snowboard style googles that nest nicely in the eyeport, too.
The only legitimate reasons not to get this helmet is if it doesn't align with your budget (others will protect just as well, methinks) or if it does not fit your head (there are other very good brands that will work in that case). The fit, lack of noise, and airflow is what you will be paying for, amongst other things.
Good stuff.
Yes, I recommend this product.

AGV AX-8 DS EVO Helmet Brand new for fall 2011, the AGV AX-8 DS EVO Helmet takes one of the most high-end and lightweight dualsport helmets on the market (AX-8 DS) and makes some significant upgrades. The design and the line inevitably recall the AX-8 Model from which it is derived, but additional technical features like the visor and the specific visor mechanism, the chin air vent that can be opened, and the open-able supplementary ventilation on the top guarantee all the performance and comfort of a road model. New internal padding with increased thickness for improved comfort and greater stability in professional use. New shape of the outer shell in the chin area which, combined with a wider and softer base edge compared to the previous model, reduces interference with any back protector used and decreases risks of impact traumas, thanks to its shock-absorber function. Features SSL (Super Super Light) carbon, Kevlar and fiberglass shell construction IVS (Integrated Ventilation System) funnels air though channels in the outer shell New flat dual face shield in non-scratch, antifog polycarbonate Dry-Lex internal padding with sanitized treatment Removable and washable cheekpads and internal lining Outer aluminum peak screws 3 shell sizes DOT and ECE 22.05 Certified

Great helmet for DS/supermoto. It actually looks great without the visor, too, if you want to run it on something less dirtbikeish.
It is loud but I wear earplugs. It flows air very well, but it can be closed-off in several ways. There are none of the usual cutouts for your ears inside but once I have them tucked up inside, it does not cross my mind during a ride.
It fits my oval head securely and comfortably, but the large's fit is slightly bigger when compared to other brands. This is mostly in the cheekpads, I believe. It is not so great a difference that I could go down to a medium. If your cheeks/jaw are small for your head, this may not work for you.
The character of this helmet is what makes me love it, though. Being a dirt guy, I feel very much at home looking out the eyeport.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I expected something that flowed air well, offered some protection for the street (one might want to add a back protector), and looked good doing it (flouro looks neat-o). This jacket delivered all that for a good price.
The liner can be used surprisingly well to extend the seasonal capability of this jacket. 2 seasons maybe?
I did have a gripe with the collar rubbing one side of my neck raw after a day of riding, but I shaved down that part and it is not an issue anymore.
1.80m, 81.6kg, I wear 46 in normal euro jacket sizes and the MED fit well (snug) in this jacket, naturally coaxing your arms toward the controls on a sport/standard bike. Think your t-shirt sizing for this jacket.
It was good for my budget at the time of purchase, but I would advise getting something more robust if you can swing it.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Wich helmet is better? Shoei hornet ds, agv ax8 ds, arai xd4 or BMW enduro helmet.

The one that fits you best, perhaps. My AGV AX-8 DS EVO has great "character" (or is it quirks?) and is light, cool, and loud. My Shoei VFW-X is practically perfect in every way. I love them both. Arais do not fit me well (oval head) and I cannot comment on the Bimmer helmet.

Try all of them on if you can. Revzilla has a great return policy.

I ride a harley fxr. is the Alpinestars T-GP-R Air mesh a suitable jacket for cruiser riders or is it sports type of jacket primarily. Thanks in advan

I've worn the yellow flouro version on a '72 Sporty (the one with bass-boat paint) with a supermoto-style helmet so anything is possible. Expect some funny looks and gestures if you do this, though.

However, this jacket does not favor a true cruiser riding style. The cut pulls your arms forward towards sports/standard controls. If you have low and forward bars and a not so loud loud black jacket, this might be perfect, though.

Cleaning the A* GP R Air?

How difficult is it to clean this jacket?

I would like to get one with white sections but im worried it gets dirty and is an absolute nightmare to wash.
Your assumptions are correct. I have the white/black/flouro and it has to be hand washed as soon as you can get to it, which is a pain after riding through swarms of the Minnesota state bird, the mosquito (I recommend starting with a vacuum cleaner in that case). Cleans up decent, but it WILL turn grey/brown eventually if you start to neglect it.

Keep this for your warm, sunny day excursions, and wear a grungy jacket or an over jacket on nasty days if you can. It was worth it to me to get the pretty colors.
