Bell Custom 500 Helmet In tribute to their founder, Roy Richter, Bell has released a line of helmets based on Richter's 500 design. Hailed by Bell as ground zero for the modern motorsport helmet there is no doubt that this original design formed by Richter himself in 1954 has given rise to an industry. The design is a classic that has been updated with modern protective technology by Bell engineers. By combining a custom fiberglass layup with a specially designed EPS foam layer, Bell engineers were able to craft a helmet that is at once light weight, narrow in profile, and DOT-compliant. The Custom 500 series comes in a variety of styles inspired by custom graphics which suit riders from all points along the style spectrum from understated to flash. These helmets rock with looks that are as good as their performance. Only reason I marked anything down is before its a 3/4 helmet... Its gonna b louder, less protective, and less feature rich than a full faced... I Own 4 Bell's, I love that they are made in the US. I've worn this helmet on my cruisers (1999 Victory 92C, 2012 Sportster 1200 Custom, 2006 Road King# and it really lets you take in the experience of the ride. I've worn my revolver and RS-1 on the same bikes and its just not the same experience as wind in your face... I wear it mostly with Aviator style sun glasses and a bandana to cover my face from bugs and debris #No windshields on my bikes) but I have also worn bomber style goggles over the back when it rained and it work just fine... My only 3 issues are if you want to listen to music you got to use ear candy or some other very low profit ear bud as there is no room for speakers or any other options, and I've had drop down visors in the past and they are very handy but in this case it would jack up the price and ultimately this helmet is about style and throw back and vintage, lastly the interior is what it is I have a Nolan 3/4 that the inside is much more plush soft and comfortable the liner is sweet looking but a little stiff as far as comfort... My head is slightly rounder than intermidiate oval and for me to fit in this I needed to go all the way up to a XXL where are I was able to fit in a Bell Star Large after it was broken in and that has been my best fitting helmet I've ever had. I got my stunt graphic on close out from revzilla and it was $75 to my door and you just can't beat that. I road race locally and get a lot of gear at near cost from a local dealership that supports me and even they couldn't get that low for me... Shipped as expected, packed well, not issues whats so ever from the buying process, not chips or scratches... Maybe have a more discret box cause my fiance saw the box in the garage with Revzilla on the side and after that was all said and done I needed to take her out for dinner... Would for sure do business with Rezvilla again, bought from SBTG, and MCSS before and had some issues with the later and quite honestly Revzilla videos are better than SBTG cause Brian spends half the product video talking about why you should buy from them cause they ride and you should only buy from people that ride... A guy isn't gonna own a motorcycle store if he doesn't ride... thats like a tattoo artist without any tattoos... I didn't get team zilla cash cause my purchase was too small which is totally fine but I can speak on how that worked, free shipping was awesome... I've run out of things to say...

No... The liner is non-removeable and there is no relief cuts in the EPS liner... Best bet are low profile ear buds for music
