The sales representative asked me if I would like to donate a few bucks at the end of my checkout and I said sure. I'm more than happy to help out a fellow racer.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Picked this up to replace a rashed Blaster 4.0.
Joe Rocket has designed a true 3.5 season jacket. The outer layer is windproof (Tested true) and waterproof (Not tested, nor do I really want to), the inner layer is a fully functional mesh summer jacket (Armor is sewn on the mesh), and the mesh jacket has a fleece thermal vest liner. The outer layer even folds up into itself to create a bag that contains the outer, has enough room for the fleece, and straps to you with the enclosed elastic strap.
I've had a chance to test this in 50°-70°, and I have nothing but praise for it.
The outer layer does a great job of blocking the wind, and keeping the heat in. It has two waterproof vents that do a good job of flowing air through the jacket if you get warm.
Converting the outer to its bag is as easy as flipping it around and rolling it up until the zippered pocket is exposed. Then just stuff and go. The reflective piping seems to work very well for being small and discrete.
The mesh works great as a summer jacket with the liner adding that little bit of warmth if you want it. (I just used the vents for those in-between temperatures and it was fine).
The only downside is that Textile/Mesh offer good protection, but they seem to get more chewed up in accidents, and a lot of the time they are trash after one or two crashes.
Overall for $233, having a jacket that will cover all of my street riding seems like a great deal to me. I'm loving it!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Pros:
These boots fit great, and feel like tennis shoes right out of the box. Very soft and comfortable.
The inner boot and lacing system lets you dial in just the right ammount of pressue to keep your ankle locked in place and stil comfortable. Its speed lacing system is very quick and easy to use.
The cuff adjuster allows you to match it up to your suit, or snug it down for wearing under jeans.
The ventilation system keeps your feet cool in the summer, and they still don't freeze in 50° weather.
Outer shell has protection and flex points in the right spots. I went down in them twice last season and I suffered no ankle or foot injuries in a tumble and when the bike came down on my leg (Now where the swingarm hit my calf above the boot...). I definately feel they prevented injuries I would have sustained elsewise.
Cons:
My left boot heel squeaks when it articulates. Not sure why. No comfort issues, just makes a noise.
The replaceable toe slider was a good idea, but the retention system is poor. They come off pretty easily, and black replacements are impossible to find. I would advise anyone that rides in these to check your sliders every time you get on and off the bike and save yourself the hassle of getting new ones.
However if you do lose a slider, a simple call to Alpinestars will get you taken care of. I got frustrated of looking and finding the old models so I called to try and order a set. When I asked to order a set of sliders, they set me to the warranty division and shipped me out a new set for free. You can't ask for better service than that.
Overall I love the boots, and would happily recommend them to anyone. Their comfort and protection is awesome, and they take care of their customers.
Yes, I recommend this product.
