It is a replacement shield to a really great helmet. Purchased an extra with my helmet as there are no Nolan distributors in my area. i thought the price was reasonable epecially since the shipping was free with the helmet.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Nolan N43E Trilogy Solid Helmet New design for 2012! New Features New Chinbar is extended for extra room and now can accept included chin curtain New Face shield now has intermediate open position, previous version was either opened or closed New locking pivot kit 6-in-1 design The New Nolan N43E Trilogy Helmet is a crossover design with quick-change accessories that allows for customized looks and functions for every ride. The helmet comes with the clear shield, the integrated sun shield, the peak and the removable chinbar. The Lexan chinbar is EPS lined and mounted with strong stainless-steel latches, so it passes the tests for full-face helmets of the European standard ECE-2205. VPS (Vision Protection System) features a short dark shield mounted on the inside of the helmet which moves independently from the face shield. It provides real eye protection and is also available in amber, light blue and light smoke as an accessory. The VPS is easily operated by a large rubber coated slider on the left side of the helmet. Features Quick-change shield is optically correct, UV-400 and fitted in an exceptionally large eyeport Includes a Pinlock antifog insert The short black peak can be installed in seconds instead of the clear shield Ready for the N-Com communication system Lightweight aerodynamic polycarbonate shell with built-in spoiler for improved stability Fully removable and washable Clima-Comfort liner is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and wicking Super-efficient JSW top vent with exhaust grid in the rear spoiler works in conjunction with the air channels along the crown Microlock (adjustable quick-release) retention system Velour chin-strap padding 3.6lbs with all accessories Both D.O.T. and ECE certified Note Trilogy Solid, Trilogy Outlaw and Trilogy Voyage Helmets are identical except for the paint or graphics.

really like this helmet. little more round than my previous HJC modular, but happy with the fit (i think my head is more oval). this helmet is light relative to my previous helmets. the best part is between it being so light and the HUGE eyeport it really doesn't feel like I am wearing that much of a helmet. I love how i can see the whole world when i ride now. as to the comment saying that opening the shield to the first pinlock obscures vision...i do not think this is an issue. even riding in the second lock, you just don't focus on that part of the shield. and speaking of the pinlocks, they are very positive, the shield is easy to open and close. the one thing i would ding this helmet on is the internal visor. it could come lower for me, though i have been using it partially lowered to keep the sun off the sunglasses when the sun is low.
Yes, I recommend this product.
