First off this in awesome looking jacket and fits perfect, I am 6' 190lbs and I ordered a 52 and I couldn't ask for a better fit. I like the way it looks and feels on.
Now if you are aware of this before buying it it shouldn't be a problem but the jacket is EXTREMELY thin, you can see through the mesh. Now I understood it was mesh and is designed for great air flow which is does have. So if you are looking for a summer jacket for cruising around town than this may be the jacket for you. It would definitely help protect your elbows and shoulders if you did go down, but if you didn't buy the addition back protector and/or chest protector there is absolutely zero protection. It is like a jersey in those areas.
I have full leather riding gear and usually wear my leather jacket while going to work or any longer rides but I had a Icon Contra jacket that had a giant Suzuki across the front of it and ended up selling that and getting an R1 so I sold that but comparing it to that the Contra had much much more protection in my opinion and I felt like safer in that than I do in this jacket.
Overall I would say if you don't wear anything because it is so hot than this is a great option otherwise I would suggest going with something a little bit heavier duty

Ease of Install
The backpack is very durable feeling and looks extremely well. It has a bunch of great features. There is very little drag, I don't even notice it. The zipppers work great and seem like they should hold up. I feel like they thought of alot of things to help with making it more towards a real motorcycle backpack. For example one of my favorite features is the left strap has a button you press and it unclips the strap so when you are wearing your jacket (which I always do) I don't have to bend my arm and shoulder in half trying to get it on. You can also do this with gloves on.
It is on the smaller side. It holds my laptop and two larger books, and a medium binder. It does have a zipper that you can zip and unzip to had an extra inch or two. There are a bunch of different pockets.
Cons: I really don't like how the hip straps are not removable. The buckle also rubs against the bike when leaning over. It should have some type of cloth cover or something or maybe I'm just paranoid about scratching my bike.
The helmet carryier is awesome and is well designed and built. Only problem is I haven't had to use it and don't know when I would actually need it and therefore just uses up that entire pocket. It should be removable as well, when I would need it I could just insert it and then everytime else it would just be a nice place to store things.
Again like most of my other complaints. The rain cover is awesome and think it would be great in a rain storm. Problem is I haven't been in one and don't intend to. Should be removable.
Finally the cost. It is extremely expensive for what it is.
Conclusion: It is a awesome backpack and looks great. If you have the money go for it. I have liked it so far but if you are on the fence I might have to say look somewhere else. It's not necessarily going to blow you away. It has a bunch of cool features but still not worth $160 should be $100 just because it is A*

I had originally wanted the SM-X Octane gloves from A* but they were on pre-order for WAY to long and kept pushing the ETA back everytime I called. Anyways after talking to a few people and see the video review I was sold. They are definitely expensive. But they are extremely top notch. I love all the features. I don't think most gloves offer this much protection until you jump into full racing gloves. I bought a large because of some other (snowboarding) gloves I owned were that size. That was the only other glove I had. Anyways I ended up sending those back and getting the mediums which fit great.
Pros: High tech, awesome durability and protection
Cons: Expensive, no place to pull on when you put them on.

Protection & Durability
I looked all over and finally decided to go with this jacket. I am very pleased with it. It feels really durable and heavy. My buddy has a shift one that weighs about half as much and I don't feel near as protected as this one. I really like the linear for the colder days I don't even notice the cold or wind. I have had it a little over a month and everything has held up great.
only con is the zipper flips up and sometimes slaps against my neck when zipped up. Only has happened a few times.
