I ordered an XXL to be used an a Super Tenere 1200. XXL turned out to be perfect for my particular application since XXL provides enough room for a tall 26" screen, paniers and items on the rear rack to be completely covered as well as the wheels. This cover feels pretty sturdy. Nice soft material is at the screen area to prevent scratching. Of course if your screen is filthy it may not help, so keep it clean. The cover also features 2 meshed air vents by the handle bars. So between that, and the bottom of the bike I believe there is enough air flow there to keep circulation going.

Heidenau K60 Scout Rear Tire A true 50/50 dual sport tire, the K60 Scout brings a proven balance of performance on- and off-road. With an improved tread and compound, the Heidenau K60 Scout dual sport tires deliver better cornering stability and wet weather grip on the pavement, while delivering off-road as well. The chevron style tread pattern is similar to full knobby designs which provides lots of open space between the tread blocks to route sand, mud and water from the contact patch while constantly keeping some rubber in contact with the road as the tire rotates. This tire is a stand-out as it does not sacrifice on-road longevity and adhesion to the pavement for off-road traction. A difficult feat for any tire to accomplish. TL Tubeless TT Tube Type Tire Please Note Tire size 150/70 -17 has a solid, center band rather than the staggered tread pattern pictured (see below). I just ran K60 scouts front and rear on a 7K+ mile trip from East Coast US through central Canada into and through Canadian Rockies, then back to the US Rockies, then heading east to NY on a Super Ten. I did about 400 miles off road during this trip part of which involved sharply cut gravel in Saskatchewan. Ran in dry and stormy conditions. The tires held up very well. Never felt unstable or unsure. I had a spare set with me so I was willing to risk. By the time I returned home the front still looks great, the rear one does have noticeable wear and tear, specifically, cuts from gravel, cracks at the base of the knobs and obviously worn rubber and yet it still has plenty of meat on it. Before this trip I had taken this same set to a few state forests for off-roading and put them through some serious punishment on big boulders, mud and gravel. They held up very well and got me home from this long trip despite the cracks and slash cuts on the rear tire base from road conditions and hard riding. Overall these tires have about 8500 miles on them.

Tubeless tires with tube-type rim
I'm considering the Heidenau K60 Scouts for my Triumph Tiger 800XC. The issue is that in the appropriate size (150/70-15 rear and 90/90-21 front) the K60's are tubeless ["TL" designation in the part number], whereas my rims require innertubes.
My question: Is it OK to run tubeless tires with tubes?

You will find that some will say yes and some will say no. It's like an oil question.
I am of an opinion that yes you can, having done so myself. I know others that have use tubes in a tubeless tire. You can run a search on that as well, tons of topics. Just keep an eye out on a speed rating.
