I purchased this luggage for my first ling trip on the Yamaha. My initial reaction on unpacking the Great Basin was that it was smaller than I thought it would be. Of course it was a packed tightly for shipping so I wasn't disappointed. Altogether, I felt the Great Basin saddlebag is a great product and accomodated my needs as advertised. I could have used some more room but after two weeks I had it figured out (especially the part about packing too much supeflous stuff). Since I use a bigger bike, I wouild have liked to see a few extra accessory attachments and the staps longer (at 6" on a couple of them) so that I could trip them as neeed.
I did get into a little rain but all stayed dry! No off-road yet and no crashes so I'll save those comments for another review! I will say that this style of luggage kept the bike very well balanced indeed! Looking forward to more trips with my Giant Loop Great Basin saddlebag. Will probably get my son one for Christmas also!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Nolan N104 Helmet - Solid Colors Nolan N104 Helmets represent an evolutionary step for Nolan as they replace the much touted N103 Helmet. When compared the older N103, the Nolan N104 Helmet offers a helmet which is much lighter (7oz), features a lower profile through the use of multiple shell sizes, better aerodynamics, as well as a much larger viewport for increased visibility. The (patented) chin guard rotation movement with elliptical trajectory makes it possible to keep the total size of the helmet's front section to a minimum, when the chin guard is open. The sail effect is consequently highly reduced and riding comfort is still guaranteed, even when the chin guard is lifted. The new ultrawide eyeport is the largest of any Nolan helmet, both vertically and laterally for maximum field of view. The AIRBOOSTER ventilation system is equipped with an air intake in the chin bar, another intake in the brow and two rear extractors at the rear. The inner comfort lining includes removable cheekpads, inner liner, neckroll and chin curtain and is easily removable and washable as well as antifungal and antibacterial. New, redesigned comfort liner also accommodates eyeglasses much more easily than before. All Nolan N104 helmets are also N-COM B4 ready ( N-COM B4 is designed expressly for the N104 and is sold separately). Shell Features Injected polycarbonate GE Lexan shell 7oz lighter than the Nolan N103 Two Shell engineering allows Nolan N104 to offer sizes from 2XS to 3XL (2XS-LG and XL-3XL) Dimensionally correct sizing allows ample cubic volume in chin/nose area Faceshield Features Face shields are now sized to fit the two different shell sizes (2XS-LG and XL-3XL) Ultra wide eye port opening is the largest on any Nolan helmet for superior visibility Shield is changed by a simple push button mechanism Pinlock shield included with each helmet VPS (Vision Protection System) is new slider bar to lower, push button release for instant retraction VPS lens is scratch and fog resistant Chin Bar Features Centromatic chin guard opening mechanism requires dual action, simultaneous action to prevent accidental opening Dual action opening mechanism is positioned in the centre of the chin guard and allows for easy, one-handed opening Ventilation N104 has new AIRBOOSTER ventilation system, ensures optimal ventilation where is is most required Air intake in the chin guard draws air in and onto the inside of the faceshield 3 position top vent (closed, crown vent, crown/brow vent) 2 venturi exhaust ports at rear of helmet New plastic vent tube channels in EPS disperse cool air throughout the helmet interior Inner Liner Features removable cheek pads, inner liner, neck roll and wind protector The inner padding of the new N104 is easily removable and washable and antibacterial The shape of the inner comfort padding facilitates eyeglass wearing Reflective insert at the centre of the roll neck further improves the rider's visibility at night Neck roll can be removed easily, for more comfort in the warmer months Other Features N-Com Communication System compatible (sold separately) Features new Microlock2 quick-release retention system Microlock2 consists of a plastic ergonomic opening lever, and of a second aluminium toothed and holding lever Microlock2 minimizes the possibility of unintentional opening while still making it ergonomic and easy to use Meets or exceeds D.O.T. standards

This is actually the second of this helmet I purchased. My head measurement said size L but no way was that the right size! I really liked the helmet though so ordered an XL and am very happy with it. Still very warm in 105 degrees but what helment isn't...
The size large fit snug to start with and didn't loosen at all with a few hours of use, in fact it was painful in the temples and cheeks. The XL is perfect. Not loose at all and didn't seem to loosen up much, if any, after several hours in the heat on a recent trip. I know I could have sent the first back with Revzilla's excellent return policy but I did try to wear the helmet to "break it in" per recommendations. At least my son can use it.
The Nolan is an excellent choice for a modular touring/adventure type helmet. The sun shade is easy to use and retracts easily. So far the venting works well but we'll see after my long trip coming up in a couple of weeks!
Yes, I recommend this product.
