I purchased the tinted insert and corresponding Arai Max Vision shield for my new Vector 2 helmet. In most situations the view through the shield does not offer near the clarity one would get without the insert, mostly due to the way the light shines through the shield. If the sun is at any sort of angle above, left or right of the shield the view is kind of cloudy, not foggy but more like there's a ghosted image making it hard to clearly see the terrain. The darkest tinted insert is too light for anything but heavily diffused light like on a overcast weather day and despite my best efforts to read multiple directions and watch multiple videos on how to install the insert, I couldn't get mine to fully seal up. It is very hard to get the insert to seal around the brow vents even though the shield has a recess for the insert to fit into. Also the little tiny screws that you use to adjust the angle of the pins to increase pressure on the insert stripped out with very little pressure.

I bought this sock as an add on to another order wondering how good a pair of socks this expensive would be, I haven't been disappointed. I was told and can agree that these socks do not hold an odor and I usually wear them twice before washing but you could probably make this your only pair for a 5 day ride provided they dry out over night. These socks don't cause any blistering or other irritations and since they are sewn as one piece, they don't create any hot spots. My boots are GORTEX and don't really breathe that well so my feet will get damp but when I take my boots off, I can immediately feel air movement around them.
I've had this pair of socks since March 2012 and they are still in great shape with one exception. My boots have velcro on them and if the sock attaches itself to the Velcro parts they will fuzz up when you separate the sock from the Velcro. This doesn't seem to cause any issues like a run but they will stay fuzzed up where it happens. I'd guess this is not an issue with the construction of the socks but for someone as picky as myself, I could do without this problem.
I plan to buy the winter version of this sock.
Yes, I recommend this product.

What size is recommended for shoe size 9.5 US?

What size sock do you recommend for someone who wears seize 9.5 US shoes?
Try to figure out what your US size converts to in European sizing, it's probably a 42. These socks are pretty true to size but since you are at the small end of the size range, I'd purchase the 39-41 and see how those fit.
