I'm 6'0" and 165 lbs. The US importer recommended a size small, and they fit just fine. The knee armor stays nice and high. The foot straps remain in place. A little tight under jeans, but fine with mesh pants. Except...
Sitting upright on my WR250X, the coccyx (tailbone) armor would slip down, which gets uncomfortable to sit on. I cut off the bottom third of the coccyx armor (about 2" x 2") and replaced just that part with foam rubber, and all is fine now. This may not an issue for sport riders who usually lean forward.
