After getting soaked a few times (even though this is California), I wanted something that would keep me dry. My original pair of Sidi Fusions didn't quite last 18 months, and the Vortices were a bit much for everyday riding so based on reviews I ordered these.
They fit pretty tight for a 46, but that's probably the lining. I've been getting poked in my right ankle by one of the armored bits, but it's been getting better as they get broken in.
As Sidi boots go, they're pretty subtle (all black/grey).
They might be overkill for around here, but I'm pretty happy. I've also got a low tolerance for cold, so those over the bridge freeway rides are a lot nicer now...
