I ordered the Dainese Carbon Cover S-ST gloves for a every day riding glove. They offer all kinds of protection and features for the price. One thing I did not want was a lot of airflow as being too warm is not something I have to really worry about in Alaska. Down in the States this could be an issue. By the time I got them the riding season was winding down, so only wore them maybe 30 times before I put the bike away. They are pretty stiff, and I am still working on breaking them in. The only problem spot I am finding in on the little finger, where there is a piece of leather that wraps around the finger, that is proving to be resistant to breaking in, but I think it will come around with use. It is really amazing the technology and design that goes into these gloves. I have studied them, and I simply cannot find a weak spot on them. Hopefully, I never have to use them for their intended purpose, but if I do I am confident they will hold up. I am very happy with them and would highly recommend these gloves.

Dainese Druids S-ST Gloves Dedicated to those with a sports road riding approach, Druids S-ST combines exceptional comfort and extraordinary light weight with a high level of protection, through carbon inserts on the knuckles, back and base of the fingers and reinforced palm with TPR inserts. Constructed with a single panel of leather covering the side of the hand for greater abrasion resistance, this short cuff glove is made of cowhide on the back and goatskin on the palm. Elasticated inserts and innovative Microelastic inserts ensure excellent freedom of movement of the hand to avoid muscle fatigue even during extreme riding, while the micro- injected insert on the palm reduces the risk of blistering, offering even better grip on the handlebar. Protection Composite inserts in carbon fiber on the knuckles, back and joints of the fingers Polyurethane insert on the palm Distortion Control on little finger Certified as PPE to EN 13594 Standard cat. I bought this glove for the features. I ride in Alaska, so heat is not much of an issue. This is a solid glove, without much in the way of airflow other than between the fingers. Perfect for my uses. The protection they offer is awesome. I had a medium and it fit great, except for the fingers. But I have short, stubby fingers so I don't think that is the gloves fault. They were very comfortable. However, on the first ride, I stopped for gas, and when I was putting the gloves back on, the strap pulled out when I cinched the gloves, ripping the panel they it was attached to. It was not like I was putting too much pressure on it either, I like my gloves a little loose on the wrist. In my opinion, for a high end glove this just should not happen. So, I can't say too much for the durability of these gloves. They lasted 40 miles. If this would not have happened I would have given them a excellent rating all the way across the board. I returned the Druids and decided to give Dainese another chance and ordered the Carbon S ST. Hopefully I just got a bum pair.

I was a little hesitant about buying the US 30 due to cost. However, after receiving it, I think I am going to order another one. The quality is incredible. I spent a while looking at it to try to find something wrong with it, and could not. All the stitching is absolutely perfect. Even the straps are perfect! The fitment on my Speed Triple is almost like it was made only for my bike. The bag goes on and off easily and quickly, and stays in place when you are riding. I personally hate to feel a bag in the small of my back when I ride, so I put the bag on sideways, instead of inline like the product photo shows and it works perfectly. I was concerned about being able to stack the bag and have it move while riding but with the way the straps hold the bag and you are able to strap it down so tight, I am going to order another US 30 and stack them. I highly recommend this bag for sport bikes. Don't let the price scare you away, it is worth every penny.
