I bought Forcefield Limb Tubes to wear under my work pants for my commute, and they've been great so far. The peace of mind knowing that there's protection between my knees and the asphalt is worth it. They're not exactly "stylish," but they're comfortable enough off the bike, and you can barely tell they're then when you're riding. Decent airflow too - the honeycomb material of the actual armor seems to help a lot with that. I'd definitely recommend these if you'd rather not wear textile overpants, and if leather pants are too much of a hassle for your ride.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Sizing

The sizing chart for the "Limb Tubes" doesn't really help with picking the right size. They come in 3 sizes but the chart just says arms and legs sizes. How can i size my knee area to get the right size.

Thank,
MD
I'm a 5'3" female, and the mediums fit my knees snugly. (I'm a cyclist though, so I have muscley legs.) Since you're a guy, I'd probably go with the Large for knees, unless you're a string bean.
