I bought these gloves for cold weather and rain. For cold weather they are very warm and they kept my hands warm at 40F, haven't ridden colder than that. Have not tried these in the rain yet. The styling is nice like most Alpinestars gear and the quality is top notch. The glove has some nice features:
- nicely padded palm in all the right spots
- snot wipe finger
- extended length wrist closures nice for covering rain suit sleeves
- good protection

The only complaint is the opening around the wrist area is kinda tight but the sizing for the width at the knuckle and fingers was spot on. I have a 4 inch wide hand with long fingers so I ordered a XL. I will try to follow up once I try them in the rain.

what temperature range is this glove made for?
I would say they are good for temperatures from 70F down to around 35F, colder than that I would suspect these will not keep you warm enough. Warmer than 70F I think your hands will start to sweat.
