Living in Virginia, summer days can get a little "toasty". However I'm confident that the T-GP-R Air Jacket will keep me protected, and cool at the same time, regardless of how stifling the heat becomes.
The other great thing about this jacket has to be the full sleeve liner. Wearing the jacket with the liner and a moderate under-layer you can easily push this jacket into 50 degree territory.
I purchased the White/Black/Red in Large, and I'm 5'11" 175lbs and it fits great, I have longer arms and could have used about an inch more in the sleeves but an XL would have been too big for me. One thing to remember with mesh jackets though... they're absolute bug magnets, so if that's of concern to you, you may want to opt for a color with black in the center.
My only gripe with the jacket is the forearm and elbow protection's willingness to slide down toward my wrist and leave my elbow exposed. The pocket the armor sits in is a little too big, however a quick modification with a needle and thread fixed this with no problems.
Overall a great jacket, and I would definitely recommend to anyone riding in hot & humid climates.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Sizing as well as add-ons issues

According to the textile sizing chart, I am right smack in-between a SM and MD.
I intend to purchase Bionic Chest Pad as well as the Bionic Air Back Protector (pls confirm if the Bionic Air Pack Protector will fit into this jacket).
Given the above, which size should I go for? SM or MD?
Many thanks.
Personally I would go with the Medium. The jacket does fit true to size, however adding the bionic protection in both front and back, you may want the little extra room afforded by going a half size up. Remember, if you don't like the fit, you can always exchange it for free!

Colours?

It appears the red/white/black option has changed.

Is the current version shown what will ship?
I was originally bitten by the change. The White/Black with Red lettering is what will ship. There are no red panels on this jacket as there were in previous pictures. Not sure why Alpinestars changed the look as I preferred the old color combo better, but it is what it is. So again, what you see is what will ship.
