fits perfect with enough movement room (not tight at all) and nicely engineered breathable areas, windstopper where necessary... can't find anything wrong with this. I use it everyday on my commute to work. I love how it also spreads around the neck covering a bit of my shoulder and throat area. I don't have to zip up my jacket all the way when it's not that cold (low 30s) and still have adequate wind protection.

Just the right height, flexible, comfortable and stylish. I can walk in them, easily, the front fabric section makes shifting even easier - a full leather boot is a bit more stiff around the front of the ankle area - well thought of details all around. I would definitely buy another pair.

First the viewing angle: amazing. my biggest problem is viewing angle, especially on the sides. I commute to work, daily on my Sportster in New York City. And having to turn my head to see the sides, check out the blind spots is a challenge with normal helmets; but with this one it's so simple and so much safer. Viewing angle downwards: amazing. Now I can see my, uh, zipper! yes! :) With my modular helmet, I had to open the face every time I had to park, look down etc. Now there is nothing that blocks my view.
This helmet is a ground breaking design in the helmet universe since the modular design.
Fits nicely, lightweight, perfect anti-fog. I cannot find anything to put on the "cons" section with this helmet.

I rode in low 30s during the nor'easter (near blizzard snow conditions) high winds and snow pour. And all I had underneath was a t-shirt and a pair of undies. This thing is amazing - for lack of a better word. Amazing.
I wore it only once in moderate rain, no problems. Did not get a chance to try it out in truly heavy downpour - can't wait.

I bought and returned at least 3 different sets of boots before I bought these (not from RevZilla though I was really disappointed with all that purchase and wait and deliver and test and sadness and return cycle)
These boots are extremely comfortable. To test, I actually walked hours and hours around in these boots in NYC. No, problems, zero, zilch, nada.
They are water -proof. I wore them during hurricane Sandy and toured around in Red Hook. Submerged them, no issues. I rode by Sporster through the nor'easter (a winter hurricane up on north east) low 20s, near blizzard conditions, no problems.
They are protected. Never had an accident with them, but this is one feature I am comfortable with not testing and not attesting to. But the protection is there, kick yourself and see.

I love this product, I don't know what I'd do without it; actually I do: I miss two very important phone calls and resent not ordering a replacement sooner.
Here's the "beware" part. I used the adhesive mounting solution to mount this base to my half helmet because the screw+clamp was forcing the edge of the helmet too much - whatever. The adhesive felt and was strong for a month; but last Sunday during a meetup ride - in which I was the lead - it flew off of my helmet! It was totally a surprise, the adhesive was strong and there was no wobble, no misalignment nothing to tip me off. It was over 100 degrees that day and we were on the highway doing 65. A combination of heat, vibration and wind probably loosened the adhesive enough that it just came loose.
So bottomline: if you are going to use the adhesive, make sure you do something to secure the clamp kit somehow. I love this product so much that I am buying it again and it is still endorsed by me for my meetup group "the brooklyn easy riders club"
For the second one, I am going to try to force the screw-clamp and stay away from the adhesive thing.
Safe riding

This is quite a catchy design with nice feature set. I loved the buckles, they feel really secure and provide a comfortable fit. But this boot is definitely for not walking around for prolonged periods of time; it's way too sturdy for that. The toe area is extremely hard and protected by a secure shell; this also makes it very uncomfortable for walking around for too long; if I unbuckle the top to get a more relaxed ankle movement for walking, then my toe hits the shell; when I buckle it, the toe does not hit anything. In short, amazing boot for riding; not so good for walking.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I am a motorcycle courier. Will the SMH-10 work with the PTT function of a Nextel i335 phone?

I'm thinking of purchasing the SMH-10, but I would like for my dispatcher to be able to get a hold of me while I'm riding via the PTT/walkie talkie function on my Nextel phone. Anyone know if this works via bluetooth?
here: if the phone can pair with a bluetooth headset that has a microphone and work nicely, then it will work with sena as well. sena is practically a glorified bluetooth headset as far as your phone is concerned. so you can test this easily. but something inside me says the PTT is not a part of the actual phone operation, it's more like a system that sits on your phone that has its own buttons and its own thing. try with a regular btooth headset which also has a microphone to test.

Will the Sena fit a Nolan N103 helmet and still allow for easy operation of the sun visor?

tested. the boom mic goes right underneath the sun visor thing. you cannot reach the visor operating thing without hitting the boom mic. it's a real hassle, but manageable if you put your heart into it :) the thing is, your heart won't fit in there when you are wearing thick winter gloves. thin gloves, summer time I think you can maneuver the visor, but with thick gloves - no way.

Will the unit fit in a Nolan N-90?

Will the unit fit in a Nolan N-90? My old Autocom speakers would not fit in my Nolan N-90. Also there is not a lot of room for the microphone between my chin and the chin bar.
well, this won't fit "IN" anything. my friend has Nolan N90 and he actually has the nolan bluetooth kit installed as well. but after using the sena he fell in love with the jog dial and bought it and istalled it "on top of" the Nolan bluetooth kit. please note that sena installs on a clamp kit, which clamps on to your helmet on the outside. nolan's proprietary bluetooth kit installs into the cavity that's designed for it. no other kit would fit inside that groove. so it's either Nolan's kit in the groove, or put the cover on, and mount the clamp kit of sena and be on your merry way. there are tons of youtube videos that shows how the clamp kit is installed, I strongly suggest you watch those before you make up your mind.

Sena SMH A0303

Is this model different than the previous unit that Reviews indicate breaks off at the male to female plug in on a regular basis ? The older model has the female plug in receptacle leaving the main section almost horizontal. The unit you have pictured goes more vertical and appears to be of a different type.
If this is a new design of the earbud plug in, is it holding up better ? Just about 50 % of the reviewers were complaining that this part soon broke after use.
I have both the old and the new. And believe me, they both break. the old one was rigid and it broke easily. the new one is more flexible, and because of this it breaks due to plastic fatigue. it's flexible but it's still hard plastic. so given enough vibrations (a month of riding on New York City streets) and it broke in half. but it was just the plastic that went. the cable is hard and thick enough that it held together without any problems. and it kept working. then sena replaced it under warranty. I am sure next year they will produce one with a softer plastic to prevent this problem.

Can I wear my padded jacket either under or over this suit?

I have a firstgear riding jacket with shoulder, elbow, and back pads. I would like to be able to wear it with the rain suit. I wear a large according to your chart. Can I wear my jacket over the suit, or should I get a X-large so the suit goes over the jacket? I also have long leggs for my height and weight. (35" inseam) Will I need the X-large for longer legg length. Thank you.
Definitely under. This is quite loose and you're supposed to wear things underneath this thing.

Will the SENA SMH10 work with a HJC CL-16?

Can I install this unit on my CL-16 and if I can, will I need any extra parts or adapters?

Thank you.
Yes you can. You don't need anything extra. Everything you need comes out of the box. The clamp kit will install to the helmet nicely. Please watch a few YouTube videos about how it installs you will see what I mean. I have the modular version of that helmet and I had 0 (zero) problems installing the clamp kit. That kit would install to any helmet.

50/50's sizing

I'm considering buying a pair of 50/50's but I'm having trouble with the sizing of the boot. I wear a 9.5 on regular shoes. Should I go with a 9 or a 10?
Go for 9. I wear 9 1/2 as well and I went for 9 and it's a perfect fit. I feel like if I went for 10, the boot would be far too loose to be secure in any sense.
