I am 6" - 200lbs. This is a european product. Americans tend to be a bit bigger, so the jacket runs a bit small. I have the size 54, but with the liner it is a bit tight. Without the liner, it is perfect. It does tend to rub the front side of my neck a little. After a month or so it breaks in, so the rubbing goes away. As usual Dainese does not provide a back protector. I went with the Forcefield back plate. I love this jacket. The styling is on point. I just wish I did not have to spend another hundered dollars for back protection. So far it is good from 50 -80 degrees without the liner. I have not had it in hot weather though.

does the jacket come with a back protector, if not is there a pocket for the back armor?
It does not come with a back protector, but there is a pocket. I suggest going with the Forcfield plate.
