**My 3 star ranking is due to the shaft we are getting from Shoei** I buy most of my gear from revzilla, but bought my latest helmet from local bike shop. I tried helmets on at their store, so I wanted to give them some biz. Right away I asked guy about the fish face, he said they might break in, but not much. I laughed and asked the rhetorical- "Am I going to have to buy smaller pads?" He said, "Yup". 1. No blame of 'zillas, great store as usual 2. Smaller pads were needed, work great 3. Shoei has quite the scam going with I imagine 80%+ of us having to shell out another $40+ for smaller pads after dropping $400+ on the helmet. Exchanges on pads for new helmet purchase should be the protocol.

Just a simple water-proof jacket to throw over. I don't have anything for water-proof summer. never have, probably never will. Nothing is water-proof and cool(air/temp cool). So to find that summer jacket that is really water-proof, good luck. My goal has always been to just have the water-proof gear during summer available to throw on when needed. That is what this jacket is- keep me dry when needed, not expensive.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I reviewed many summer jackets. This wasn't an impulse buy since it was a "higher-priced" jacket for a close-out price. This will be my first Revit purchase, other gear like Dainese is what I own. I will look again to Revit for my next item purchase. I read many reviews from fellow riders on revzilla and other sites. My only concern was if it would fit. According to everything I read, I should have been in a size 54. I am 6'1, 200 lbs. I finally decided to place the order and 54 was gone...So I went with the 56 and fits great. Fits slender like I expected wanted. So for anyone researching, that probably isn't going to help you out when you see my definitions and others with similar saying to go with a 54. Jacket looks great, plenty of air, feels great, wife loves it as well. i recommend getting some armor for the back, foam just left me feeling empty on the back. I took armor out of my heavy jacket and going to use it in the interim.
I researched many brands for a good all around boot for street and possible track riding. I went with the water-proof version as well. Great protection clearly present. For the money, this is best bang for the buck.
