Sidi Canyon Gore-Tex Boots Features Top grain leather construction Contrasting texture upper Equipped with a GORE-TEX waterproof-breathable membrane Velcro closure system above the ankle Micro adjustable strap system below the ankle Full length inner gaiter Rigid nylon innersole Removable arch support Internal heel protection Internal ankle protection Internal toe protection Leather toe shift-brake pad Nylon plate and internally padded shin plate Double stitched in all high stress areas Reflective panels Bonded non-slip lug type sole Non-Bootie Designs Sidi boots do not incorporate inner booties into their design, and for good reason. Booties make the design larger and cumbersome add to the boots thickness, which interferes with shifting, plus the inner booties retain body heat affecting the riders performance and comfort. Gore-Tex Striving for peak performance Whether its a day on a wet track, a long distance tour through all types of conditions, or simply pursuing your everyday adventures, Sidi GORE-TEX lined boots will help you get there. Designed to provide comfort and protection, Sidi GORE-TEX boots keep your feet dry, even when you encounter snow, or rain. Each Sidi GORE-TEX boot is totally waterproof to keep moisture from penetrating inside, yet incredibly breathable to allow sweat to escape. This high breathability is critical to your comfort because, simply put, sweaty feet are uncomfortable feet. Inside waterproof boots that are not breathable, moisture builds up and has nowhere to go. It then remains trapped against your skin, leaving your feet clammy, uncomfortable, and more prone to develop blisters. This can be even more of a problem in high aerobic activities because the more active you are, the more your feet sweat were talking up to one full cup of water a day! Sidis GORE-TEX lined boots is specifically designed to provide comfort and protection on a hard ride or for longer rides when the weather is warmer. The patented GORE-TEX membrane is where it all starts. Nestled between the boots outer top grain leather and the inner liner, this membrane keeps water out while letting your perspiration vapor escape. As part of Sidis waterproof guarantee, EVERY boot produced is tested for waterproofness and breathability. And, to make sure the whole boot breathes the way it should, all leather and other textile materials used to construct Sidi GORE-TEX boots are tested for breathability as well. So go on take that extra step. Take it in total comfort because youre wearing Sidi GORE-TEX boots!

I'm thrilled with my Sidi Canyons now that I've had them a couple months and they are broken in.
Pros:
- 100% Waterproof: I stood in a bucket of water for 10 minutes and had no leaks.
- Good protection: hard plastic on the inside ankle bone, toes, heel and shin.
- Look great.
- Micro adjustable buckle allows for a tighter fit over the arch than an all Velcro closure. It's also quick and easy to put on, adjust and take off.
- Medium-stiff, lugged sole provides awesome grip and support for walking, standing on the pegs and feet down when stopped.
- Comfy to walk in after they broke in. This took a couple weeks of wearing. At first the leather pinched the top of my foot.
Cons:
- They are pricy.
- The insole they came with might have well been a piece of cardboard. I replaced it a foam insole that provides more cushion and arch support.
- They lack hard protection on the outside ankle bone.
- The suede leather sections may be difficult to clean and treat.
Be aware:
- They are fairly narrow, and run slightly small. I wear a men's US 7.5 shoe and have narrow feet, and the Canyon EU 41s fit me perfectly. My previous boots from another brand felt loose. The Canyon is snug, but not tight with a thicker replacement insole AND warm wool socks. If you have wide feet, you will probably not be happy in these boots.
- Like any Gore-Tex waterproof boot, they can get warm. Decent socks are important to keep your feet from feeling swampy. Don't wear cotton.
- They lack insulation. My previous boots were a little thicker which provided a small amount of extra warmth in colder weather. The Canyons are still great with appropriate socks though.
Yes, I recommend this product.

The Held Warm N Dry Glove is the choice for cold and wet weather riding. With Superfabric, reinforced knuckles, and high quality leather these comfortable gloves do not compromise protection! The Warm N Dry Gloves also work great with heated grips! The palm is thin enough to allow good feel for the controls and allow the grip heaters to warm your hands, while the lightly insulated back helps to hold in the heat and protect your hands from cold rain and windchill. I've had my pair of Held Warm N Dry gloves for about a month now, and have used them commuting & riding in temps ranging from the mid-30s to high 50s.
I called CS before ordering, and was given spot on advice about sizing, and a warning that these aren't highly insulated winter gloves. I have heated glove liners & grips, so they are exactly what I wanted & expected in terms of warmth. But I do think the name "Warm N Dry" is a bit misleading on Held's part.
Pros:
- Fit & Comfort are amazing. Feels like a summer glove on the palm and because of the bonded liner.
- Protection & Construction are great.
- Waterproof (5+ minutes submerged in my sink, and my hands were perfectly dry).
Cons:
- The visor wiper is almost useless... The rubber is too thin, and not tall enough. It ends up collapsing over the top of the left index finger. It also stands up off the index finger, instead of out to the side, requiring that you attempt to wipe your visor with your palm facing forward. If not for this, I would rate the glove 5 stars.
Be aware:
- This is a lightly insulated glove. I have hand-guards on my R1200R, and I'm comfortable in the mid-50s without the heated grips on, and down to mid-to-low-40s with the heated grips on. Below that and my fingertips start to get numb unless I put on my heated glove liners and crank them up.
- The cuff is shorter and a little smaller than many full gauntlet gloves. It still fits over my jacket just fine, and will fit under more easily than most. If you have a jacket that has bulky wrist closures, you may have problems fitting the gauntlets on this glove over them.
- Sizing is meant to be snug. I went a size larger than normal at Revzilla's advise so i could fit the glove liners underneath, and am very glad I did.
Yes, I recommend this product.

MachineartMoto MudSling Standard Rear Fender R1200R Fits all years R1200R non-ESA. For ESA models, please select the MudSling ESA Rear Fender . The MudSling stylishly protects the shock and battery area from flying mud, rocks, and tar, keeps the underseat area cleaner and reduces splash-out to the sides. MudSling installs without having to remove the stock spring cover or the rear wheel and looks beautifully integrated with the design of the R. Fits standard suspension models and fastens to the frame beneath the tool tray with the included two T25 Torx screws utilizing existing mounting locations, and with zip ties to the frame side rails. High impact ABS plastic is .125 thick with a lightly textured satin finish surface.

The MudSling is a great addition to the R1200R.
Functionally, it keeps water and dirt from the read tire from spraying on the rear shock and under-seat/battery area.
Aesthetically, it does so while looking like it could have come on the bike from the factory. The Machineart Moto logo is really the only sign that it isn't.
The only small detail that looks out of place at all is the use of zip ties to help hold the sling firmly against the frame, but even those are hard to distinguish from wiring zip ties on the bike from the factory.
