These gloves are the most comfortable I have worn. Great dexterity and the seams on the fingers are on the outside of the glove. This is awesome because I no longer get the pressure lines on the tips of my fingers. Nice and soft. They are not gauntlet so they are cool, easy to take on and off, and pocketable; but not as protective as other gloves. The knuckle protection is mostly hidden and very flexible. The one drawback is the loud D3O advertising that pops out when you make a fist. While I am not staring at my hands while riding, it still mildly bothers me. I just don't appreciate ugly overbranding (The Icon symbol sewn on the back of the hand is beautiful, in contrast). I have thought about removing it, but I have also thought about cleaning behind the toilet. I will not do either.
Love the brown leather and the detailing is fantastic. They vent a little but not much, the lack of a gauntlet allows cool air up your sleeve so it evens out.
Buy these gloves if you want a pair you can stuff in your back pocket after doing some street riding and would otherwise just wear muleskins, but you want good impact protection and style.

Icon One Thousand Elsinore Boots The Icon 1000 Elsinore's five-strap, alloy-buckle chassis, stamped metal heel plate, and internal steel shank combine for a serious dose of moto-x homage. The traditional Goodyear welt construction mates the Icon street-specific sole to the magnificent leather upper. A medial entry zipper, allocated from Paratrooper jump boots, is the only luxury the Elsinore will allow itself. A modern relic from an era when men were iron and tanks were steel. The Elsinore, old-school MX reinterpreted for the urban sprawl. Features 12 top grain leather upper Goodyear welt construction Icon cast metal buckles Icon stamped metal heel plate Heat pressed leather shifter panel Heat pressed molded leather shin plate Internal ankle protection Axialmetric steel shank YKK Zippers

The style of these boots gets everyone's attention. I finally have an alternative to wearing unarmored "harness" boots when I want to wear something that doesn't look like I just got off the track to go out. The boots look old style motocross but feel like armored touring boots. There is no way to overstate how easy the zippers make getting them on and off. The icon logo on the shin is over the top, I wish it were just a blank panel. Luckily it is stamped and monochrome so it becomes invisible a few feet away. Nice and stiff when you get them and soften after a good break in. There's nothing out there like them. Don't buy them if you live in Dallas, I want to be the only one with a pair of these.
