Icon Hooligan 2 Threshold Mesh Jacket Some will tell you that you can never know your true limits until you exceed them. A simple mathematical equation that balances at the threshold. Until such point where desire exceeds skill and ambition outweighs ability. The sum of this equation is the negative integer we refer to as pain. No jacket will completely prevent the pain from an imbalanced equation, but the Hooligan2 can help put the balance back towards your favor. Features ICON relaxed fit Durable fighter mesh chassis for maximum venting Removable ICON CE field armor impact protector elbow and shoulder Removable ICON dual-density foam back pad Heavyweight ballistic impact panels Stretch panels for increased mobility Lined collar for comfort Internal zippered pocket for secure storage Removable insulated wind resistant liner Upgradable to stryker CE back protector Please note, white jacket features silver logos not red as pictured.

First and foremost, I needed a jacket that wouldn't be unbearable to wear in the summer heat. I have an Icon Contra as well, and it's getting far too hot for that. But the Hooligan is less than half the weight, and has more mesh areas which are very breathable. It fits slightly large on me, the chest and waist length are ok but the arms are longer than I'd like. I got the green jacket to match my Ninja and I'm happy with the style and visibility. I get a lot of compliments on it, I wear it for protection but of course looking good isn't a bad thing either. I would absolutely recommend this product, and I'm becoming a real fan of Icon gear in general.

Overall I'm happy with them. My hands stay nice and cool even in the summer heat. They seem well-made, not flimsy or cheap-looking at all, but they are a lightweight glove and I wouldn't expect them to hold up that well in a crash. I could be wrong on that, fortunately I haven't had to test that theory. The fit is a little off, I ordered large according to the sizing chart, the palm area fits very tight but the fingers are a little long. They are a little bit difficult to get on and off, but hopefully that will get easier as I break them in. But they look good, keep my hands cool and protected, and are quality gloves for a low price.

Icon Field Armor Stryker Elbow Guard Probably, gonna, crash. Three words that Nick Apex uses to describe his riding style. We know hes not alone. With that thought in mind, Icon created the Stryker Elbow Armor. Rider designed chassis, d3o intelligent foam, and CE certification add up to quality blockers for your under-appreciated pointy bits. If youre one of those riders who is never going to crash this product isnt for you. If you ride anywhere near reality than we suggest acquiring a set of Field Armor Stryker elbows. sizing

Rider is 5'9'' 180-190lbs, large and medium shirt size, what size do you recommend s/md or l/xl ?
Depends on your arm length, really. as long as you don't plan on using the liner, you could probably get away with a medium. I'm 5'9" 160, bought a large which is a little big but very long in the arms. If your going to be wearing the liner too, you should definitely buy a large
