Fit runs small. I'm 5'10" and weigh 180. I wear 32x32 regular fit 505's and the 32's fit very snugly. I have pretty slim legs and imagine someone with stocky legs would not fit into these. Legs are tapered nicely to go inside boots.
I'm not sure about air flow; they were quite comfortable for several hours of riding at 50F, so they'll probably be on the warm side in summer temps.
My only complaint is the bulky knee protection -good to have the protection, no doubt, but they cause occasional clearance issues with my mid-fairings. Other than that, they're comfortable on the bike and not bad for walking short distances.
Definitely a quality build and a phenomenal deal at the sale price.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I'm 5'10', weigh 175 and wear 32x32 regular fit 505's. My inseam measures 34". Over my jeans, the waist was fine but the legs were about 4" too long. With boots on, the cuffs weren't really an issue, just made the pants very baggy at the bottom. Unfortunately, when standing, the top of the knee armor sat at the middle of my kneecaps. On the bike they sat in the right place, but there's so much room through the knee area I'm convinced they would not stay in place or offer any protection if I hit the ground. Too bad they're not adjustable.
On the plus-side, they seem well made, look good and the legs zip open enough to get boots through easy enough. The inside lining is comfortable and slippery so they slide on easily and don't cause jeans or slacks to bunch up underneath.
My biggest gripe is the excessive knee armor float and the fact it is not adjustable. A few other minor points; the hip padding inserts are very thin and flimsy, but can be removed/replaced. Pockets don't reach through to street clothes but could be cut if needed/wanted. Reflective piping was a nice tough, but is on the back of upper legs, so likely won't be visible at all. Finally, there is only mesh on the upper thigh, so I'm not sure how cool these will be.
Overall, I'd keep them If my legs were 4" longer.

Does this have hip, thigh or other padding that is not mentioned in the description ???

There is removable foam padding (about 1/8" thick) in the hips that runs down the outside leg from hip to about mid-thigh. There's also a small triangular tailbone pad sewn into the rear. I removed the hip padding to see what it was, but there were no markings on it -just dense foam.

Is there any protection in the hips? A little padding?

There's some light abrasion padding on the outside and a *very* thin foam pad insert on the inside. The internal pad is held with a mesh pocket with a velcro closure, so you may be able to fit different pads.
