The hard shorts fit well and seem to have a decent air flow when riding (with perforated pants). The coccyx protection does not get in the way when riding on a sport bike. It may if you are on a cruiser. You do need to put them on like a pair of cycling shorts. The waist is a little high so if you are wearing low waisted pants these will probably ride higher. The big complaint (and probably the only real complaint) is that the side-thigh protection pieces catch on the inside of my jeans and/or riding overpants. It becomes more of a problem when you try to stick a knee out during cornering. I have tried my baggiest jeans and the pads still hinder free movement of hanging out your knee.
