U-CLEAR HBC200 Dual Force Bluetooth Communicator New for 2012 and featuring Boomless ABF Technology, UCLEAR HBC200 Force introduces Super Group Intercom and Multi-Hop technology, specifically designed for group communications with full duplex intercom. Multi-hop technology, used in military tactical communications provides superior sound quality and connection stability over Bluetooth intercom systems that suffer from interference and are line of sight dependent. By incorporating Multi-hop technology, each Uclear HBC200 control unit works as a repeater or relay station, enabling the network to grow as more control units/riders are added to the group. Depending on riding conditions, the intercom range between two riders is up to 700 meters. Adding a third unit/rider increases the intercom range up to an additional 700 meters. Add a fourth rider and the entire group can communicate up to 2100 meters (1.3 miles) in full duplex intercom mode. Wanted rider to rider communications as primary need. Everything else just frosting on the cake. My GF and I have the UClear 200s. We love them! Wearing modular Shoei Neotec helmets, the UClear slips right into the ear cutout and wears comfortably. Sound quality is superb! Am totally blown away with telephone communications while riding. My caller never knows I am on my bike. There is no wind noise. Range is sufficient. My GF loves the music streaming from her iPod. I have never tried any competing technology as I was pretty much set on a unit with NO BOOM, the UClear has this feature. I highly recommend the UClear units. They are easy to install and work as advertised. Charge time has never been an issue even on full day rides. Sound quality is absolutely superb!

If me an my passenger were using the uclear 200, can we both listen to the same music from the same music source?
Also, can we listen to music and communicate with each other at the same time?
you can be listening to music and communicate at the same time. the voice communication has priority over the music streaming ie the music is interrupted by the incoming voice communication. Once the voice communication is ended you are returned to the music streaming. Telephone communication also has priority over music streaming ie an incoming telephone call will interrupt the music streaming and be returned upon ending the telephone communication. The priority is voice, then telephone, then music in that order.
