Keep in mind that this helmet has been used on 3 rides totaling 252 miles. In addition the riding was in very windy conditions.
given the riding conditions the noise was handled better than expected.
very secure fit, strap latching very good. a little tight and will very likely get the next size up in the future.
the visor is very good -- there were several times I had to check if it was down -- because my vision through it was so good -- of course at the same time the realization of no wind hitting me in the face confirmed it was down.

Well packaged product arrived quickly. Stylish boot fit well and provided a sense of safety on and off the road. Thus far have used these for about 252 miles and about .5 miles on rough gravel road.
I will know more further on...at this time I recommend this boot.

Shield Question
This may be an obvious question, but I'm a little confused on the wording in part of this. When it says shown with optional tinted shield, does that mean the tinted AND the clear shield are included with purchase, or just the clear shield?
No tinted shield came with my purchase. In addition, the shield mechanism broke the second day of use - it would pop off on one side whenever the shield was lifted above the lowest setting (smallest opening)

Fit of the Gaerne G-Adventure boots
What's the fit like on these boots. I wear a 12 street shoe and am looking at either 12 or 13 in this boot. Also, can you provide some additional details on padding, interior armor, sole flexibility, outer shell construction and the inner liner? Thanks, your web-site is great!
US size 9: my shoe size is 8.5 to 9 US, boot runs slightly wide from standard us shoe/boot width, my estimate slight wider that US M width. Padding in this boot is comfortable and seems just right. These are relatively new boots so stiffness is present, that said, I find them comfortable to ride in but a little stiff to walk in. Though I expect more flexibility when broken in. As for internal armor, there is nothing visible, but there seems to be some, e.g. boot toe is very hard and protective.

11.5 inches from inside the heel to the top.
6 7/8 to 7 inches with about 3/8 inch velcro securing
Don't know what 46 = US
This boot runs a bit wide, not a narrow boot and somewhat wider than US medium width
