Like all the Dainese products I have the Alien pants are beautifully designed and finished. They feel really high quality from the moment you put them on. In terms of fit the length is perfect with the knee armour fitting exactly over the kneecap in the riding position -if you kneel in them your knee goes straight into the cup. I am 192 cm and 77 kg (about 6'3" and 170 lbs in old money). I bought the 50 tall (92) and the fit is just a little generous around the waist and butt - I can get a pair of skinny jeans underneath them - but generally good. The zips work well, making them easy to put on and take off, and I can easily fit my boots over them without any discomfort from the zippers, even after 5-6 hours on the bike.
I have done about 1500 km in these riding pants in late summer/autumn in the subtropics and they ventilate really well. I probabaly wouldn't wear them midday in the summer when the heat and humidity get high, or for around town riding when it gets hot on an air-cooled bike in traffic. Looking forward to more kms through the winter when they will be absolutely perfect.
