I bought these as winter gloves they worked quite well until it got into the 20-30 zone. Then it's almost as if they are not even on in regards to the fingertips. I got some thermal liners from REI that were lightweight and that did the trick. At first they are certainly a bit stiff to move around but I've found they broke in quite easily even after almost 6 months of use(almost daily) no shoddy workmanship can be seen. It's a great value for what it is! I would certainly recommend.

 Sidi Women's Jasmine Rain Boots
Sidi Women's Jasmine Rain Boots
Sidi, continuously researching new technological solutions to enhance rider safety, is proud to present the Jasmine Rain for Ladies road boot. With Sidis great style, feel, support and quality there are no finer performance off road boots in the world. Non-Bootie Designs Sidi boots do not incorporate inner booties into their design, and for good reason. Booties make the design larger and cumbersome add to the boots thickness, which interferes with shifting, plus the inner booties retain body heat affecting the riders performance and comfort. Lining Each boot is lined throughout with lightweight perforated Teflon treated fabric in order to allow moisture to breath out to the Lorica outer and dry quickly with no mold build up in the long term. Additionally the inner ankle area of all Strada series boots are fully lined with Sidis own formula of perforated closed thousand-air cell memory foam. A totally breathable lining system. Composite Insole Sidi is the only manufacture to use a composite insole that is anatomically shaped to the rider. A cushioned liner is provided that can be removed if the rider desires a more roomy fit. Sidi does not use steel shanks riveted to its insole like most manufactures, details such as this enable Sidi boots to enjoy a multi year service life versus the competitors multi month lifespan as over time, a steel shank can deteriorate, rust and fracture exposing the rider to injury. Lorica Boot's outer is fully constructed with Lorica, a composite micro fiber material created from strands less than one thousandth the thickness of silk. When injected with special resins, these fibers act like natural leather skin, but with the addition of better strength, softer texture, lighter weight and better moisture protection. Lorica is also highly resistant to abrasion - yet it still breathes - with more than three million pores per square centimeter. Easy to maintain, Lorica doesnt stain and cant be scratched and offers, reduced weight, more flexibility and more feel than leather racing boots. Features Rain membrane to add a water resistant yet breathable barrier between the elements and the riders feet Lorica Cordura outer construction Perforated Teflon treated nylon lining Composite inner sole Removable arch support Internal heel protection Internal ankle protection Internal toe protection Zipper and Velcro closure system Full length inner gaiter Lorica toe shift pad Double stitched in all high stress areas Reflective heel panel Nylon plate and internally padded shin plate Non-slip Sidi sole

I have only been wearing a pair of Doc Martin's on my bike. I got these just because they looked amazing but they also were on sale. I knew the waterproofing would mean a hotter boot although I don't notice that until I finish the ride.
I will say I feel and notice how more durable and protected my feet are in these things! Amazingly well built and I don't think I would take these on a hike with me(after I got off the bike) unless it's cold and wet but they are worth the money for the protection. Sidi is worth it!

SAS-TEC Back Protector Cutting edge SAS-TEC material is intelligent armor constructed from visco elastic soft foam smart molecules. It has earned the highest CE rating available (CE level 2), during an impact, the armor freezes and hardens, absorbing the shock and distributing its force over a large area to reduce the risk of fractures. The protector is not destroyed by impact, but reverts back to its original state and maintains its capability to protect from multiple impacts. SAS-TEC Armor has a soft and pliable exterior (as opposed to rigid KNOX armor) which offers a great deal of comfort and mobility. This protector is anatomically designed and fitted to provide superior spine and back protection as well as the base of the neck /between the shoulder blades. SC-1/11 fits Women's Turbine Jacket SC-1/12 fits REV'IT! Cayenne Pro Jacket and Turbine Jacket REV'IT Gore-Tex Jackets have different shaped back protector pockets depending on the size of jacket, see the size chart for fitment information SC-1/16 should only be used for XYL or larger Gore-Tex Jackets SC-1/11 Measurements (approximate) Height 15 3/4 Width (at widest point) 13 Thickness 3/4 SC-1/12 Measurements (approximate) Height 19 Width (at widest point) 13 Thickness 3/4 SC-1/16 Measurements (approximate) Height 21 3/8 Width (at widest point) 13 3/8 Thickness 3/4

fit perfectly into my Fieldsheer women's Jacket no problems.. don't really even notice that it's there. I got the smallest option they sell.
Doesn't reach all the way down the spine but it's just a great affordable armor upgrade for any jacket

Overall this is a great jacket for Texans.. very versatile warm/cool weather jacket the liner works pretty well riding at around 40 degrees.. kept me nice and warm.. a bit chilly riding at about 65 without the liner. Have yet to try it in rain. The sleeves are a bit too long for me.. the only complaint. But i'm petite and busty.. so what can you do but get the biggest jacket. The only thing is the back protection is flimsy but I've seen the CE armor upgrade for close to 30 dollars.. not too bad. Overall a pretty decent jacket so far.
