I was looking for a general commuter boot with decent looks and protection. The Nighthawk ticked all the right boxes for me and it didn't disappoint when it arrived.
The styling is perfect - understated and yet looks very sharp.
I'm a size 42 and, being originally from Europe myself, all my other shoes are 42. This has to be the narrowest 42 I've ever come across. I've been wearing the boot in and it's now wide enough to be comfortable. The length has always been fine - it's just the width. Heed the advice and buy a size up.
Overall - very happy with them.

Dainese Fulcrum Boots This boot is made in soft cowhide and designed for long-range touring use. The elasticated inserts on the back of the foot, the non-slip outsole, and the gear change guard all increase comfort and practicality remarkably both on and off the bike. This boot also features a waterproof Gore-tex membrane that suits it for use in even unfaborable weather conditions. Riders are guaranteed extra safety also by the thermoformed and composite inserts provided on the ankle and shin respectively. Is the insole removable?

I would like to be able to replace the stock insole with the Gerbing heated insoles during cold, winter rides.
Yes, although being that the boot is quite small already I wasn't able to actually add in my other insoles and still be comfortable.
