Have yet to use the product; still in the snow zone.
I want to comment about the sizing, however. It is very true to size. I bought an XL and there is plenty of wiggle room in it.
Also, good basic bang for the buck.

I bought these pads to replace the flimsy armor that was in my Cheyenne pro pants.
I had to trim to fit. However, I was really impressed with the size and configuration of the pads. Wish they had fit "as-is" into the pockets of my pants.

I am a 60 year old GSA rider who rides the rough and twisty roads of western PA, fireroads where I can find them, but I'm not the all-day adventure guy. These boots were recommended to me by Revzilla's Jason.
Unfortunately, we are still in the frozen tundra, but I have worn them around the house to break them in. They breathe with the GoreTex; I like the stiffness especially, since I am used to wearing heavy-duty Italian hiking boots; I like the flat sole, which will not get tangled with the rough foot-pegs; they are more flexible than the Sidi Adventure boots and yet still possess more than adequate protection for the kind of riding that I do and that most people probably do, too.
They are true to size. I'm just over an 11, but chose the 11 and they are fine. The toe-box is a bit big, so I tried an insert, but in the end, after they break in a bit more, I will wear them as they come out of the box; more toe wiggle room when you ride all day.
I will need to adjust the gear-shift on my bike, but not by much.
Patiently waiting to get rid of my PMS (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome) :-)

The Cayenne Pro's use an Exkin thermal liner, shown to have half the weight / thickness of the Dupont liner in the Sand Pants. The Cayenne Pro's use SAS-TEC armor, and the Sand uses Pro-Life and while both are CE level 2, the SAS-TEC armor is softer (only turning hard on impact) and more comfortable. $$$ prompted me to purchased these pants and the jacket too.
Runs small. I am an XL and got the XXL and it's still a bit snug.
Well constructed; good armor. The warmth layer is very thin in comparison to other products and here in western PA, I am sure that I will use that in the early spring and late fall.
Lastly, I added a Velcro tab to the top enclosure. They only have one snap and without a belt, there is too much stress on that one connection.

Puchased this to insert into my Cheyenne Pro jacket. Have yet to use (PMS - Parked Motorcycle Syndrome) here in western PA during January.
Appears to be very rugged and functional. I did put the foam that came with the jacket against my back in hopes of better air-flow.

I bought a pair of the Rev'IT curbs last year; great glove, but short cuff. I wanted a waterproof glove with some more protection. I bought the Alpinstar Jet Road and nearly sent them back because they do lack the protection that I was looking for, but decided to keep them due to the sale price so I'd have a goretex glove when needed.
I continuted to look for more of a racing glove for the protection even though I'm just a GSA touring, semi-off roader driver. One of the reps told me about the dual purpose Held Air and Dry. Great concept, great glove, and adequate protection for my type of riding.
Also, I'm still happy to have the Alpinstars. The first day I rode with the Held gloves, it was 42-45 degrees and drizzling. It was almost too cold for them; the Alpinstars would have been better suited for the day; my guess is that they'll be good down to 35ish. Cold here in western PA:-(
A bit on the high side in price, but for two in one and I do think that they'll be fine in our hotter weather with the perforated palms + high quality + true to american fit.
Give them a try!!!

These are my first pair of technical gloves. I ride a KLR and a GSA, but am not a cowboy on either of the bikes. I'm concerned with safety.
I purchased the Monster's and upon receipt, not only did I think that they were a bit large (I ordered an XL), but I also felt that the protection, other than the knuckles, was not much better than what I had been wearing. FOR THE EXTRA TWENTY BUCKS, THESE ARE MORE THAN WORTH IT!!
The downside is that I listened to Anthony who said that the sizing was right on, so I ordered a large. I wish that I would have ordered a L and XL to decide on the best fit. As it turns out after a few weekends of riding, fisting and wetting the gloves and just breaking them in, my guess is that I would be a L+, but that is not an option. On hot days and we have had several already this spring in the western mountains of PA, when your hands are a bit swollen and damp to begin with, they are harder to get into. In due time, they will be fine, but I caution you regarding what I found on the sizing.
Other than the minor sizing issue, I think that the gloves are great. Well made, good protective features for the average rider like me.
Buy them and enjoy them!!

How tall is this boot?
14 3/4" bottom of sole to the top. Enough to cover most of the shin, but not up to your knees. Also, in the reviews, several people said about the top being scratchy. I think that the mfg changed the material. I wear tall socks with while breaking in, I wore low ones at times, too, and didn't mind the material at all.
