I purchased these pants last December during our last big rain. I live in California so I never got a chance to properly review their waterproofness before spring rolled around.
Well, these past two weeks, I have done two one hour long rides in consistent rain and can vouch that these pants do not keep you dry.
Warmth:
Without the thermal liner, I'm able to wear these pants into some pretty chilly temps. As soon as I throw on the liner, I find myself riding in 30-40's very comfortably. (As soon as it cools down some more, I want to see if I can hit upper 20's)
The first time I rode in the rain, I felt really cold in the upper 50s to lower 60 degrees. I arrived with wet crotch and a dampness on the inside of the pants, not unlike the condensation found on the inside of a cheap tent. Not enough to soak me, but enough to chill me to the bone.
On my second ride, the crotch remained dry but I was still way colder than I'd expect with these pants.
Fit:
29W 28L and the 44 fit's perfectly.
A bit more relaxed than my Drake Air to accommodate for the liner but still a very nice fit on my slender frame.
I really wish the outer layer of these pants didn't retain so much water. They fit great, look great, and keep me warm....up until they get wet. At this price point, I was expecting to find a a pair of pants to end my rainy woes but at last, I'm back to the drawing board.
Rides: 2006 Yamaha FZ6

Oxford Heaterz Premium Touring Heated Grips The Oxford Heaterz Premium Touring heated handlebar grips are made especially for touring bikes. The grips have ergonomically engineered surface structures to optimize riding performance. Thicker rubber in areas of maximum wear rhombus tread patterns for high levels of grip and feel diamond tread pattern where maximum grip is required. Overall grip length is 4.72 and can be trimmed to a minimum length of 4.33 without damaging the heating elements. What really sets the Oxford Heaterz apart The answer is many tried and tested features such as the silicon cables which provide flexibility in the coldest weathers and the winter grade wiring prevents cracking and short circuits. The bonded grip design has been in use for many years and is well proven. The grip compound and thermo plastic rubber construction is designed to absorb vibration making them extremely comfortable and durable, often outlasting standard grips. The silicone wires that come from the grip are angled to eliminate water ingress and resulting corrosion/ice damage and have special unique internal supports which are heat shrunk together to prevent damage if the wires are snagged. In addition, five carefully chosen heat settings allow the perfect temperature to be selected in ALL weathers and most importantly, the switch will switch off if the voltage drops to 10.5V to ensure that the battery is not damaged to the point that it cannot be recharged to full capacity. Easier than ever to install due to the new intelligent heat controller eliminating any need to wire the positive to a live ignition feed simply connect the 2 ring connectors to the battery. You'll find everything supplied by Oxford to fit your Heaterz from a wiring loom with ring connectors to the battery with simple plug and play connectors to attach to the switch and grips, smart mounting bracket and switch right down to the glue and cable ties all neatly packaged in one box. Features: Fits most 7/8 handlebars Sealed for life 5 heat settings give the perfect operating temperature with LED lights to indicate the level Up to 122F (50C) Rainproof switch Draws under 4A Miniaturized electronics Simpler wiring Sonically welded 2 year warranty

These work better than expected. Can't believe I waited so long to get them. I run them at 50% when temps drop down into the 40's and the occasional 75% when it gets really cold. The grip is outstanding but the padding isn't all that much better than stock.
Get them for the heat and not for the vibration dampening which is negligible.
Yes, I recommend this product.
