Bang for the Buck

I purchased this helmet having never had a Speed & Strength helmet but have a friend who had a full face one that didn't work out for her. I, however, have nothing but positive comments on this beautiful helmet. While I feel more protected for sure in a full face helmet, I definitely prefer wearing an open face for the air circulation (I live in AZ) and for for being able to move my head and to see. This helmet is great in that it's an open face but has a face shield plus a drop down dark visor to block that tough AZ sun. It's quite comfortable and I like the shape / fit. While I love the quick release helmet strap, my one beef is that there is no place on the helmet (no D rings) on which to attach a lock to secure the helmet to my bike(s). I ride a Triumph Thruxton and this helmet rocks with that bike. I also have a Harley Switchback and it works great on that bike, too (tho I may need to buy a silver version to match my bike color). Ha! The beauty is….the price is right. Definitely bang for the buck. And, Revzilla, you guys rock! Thanks for great products and service.

This is my third pair of these jeans. I had to size down one size because of some weight loss so gave away one larger pair and kept one to wear with long underwear when it's cold. I like these jeans quite a bit as they are comfortable and have a couple of nice features such as a zippered coin pocket. However, the workmanship is just "ok". THe first pair I got had a zippered coin pocket that wouldn't unzip, for example. And on all three pair the waist and hips seem to be cut "just off"--they feel like they zip up just off of center. That all said, I like the overall fit, length, and fabric of these jeans a lot. They are heavy but not too heavy and I like the styling details on the back. And the biggest plus is that they are are a really fair price. I'd recommend them but with my stated reservations. They are very serviceable but not the best made women's kevlar jeans out there.

I have the "Little Miss Dangerous" textile jacket in green and like it so much that I decided to get it in black leather, too. Because I got it for a great sale price, the leather version has huge bang for the buck value. The "Little Miss Dangerous" jacket is very protective and has some nice features including a zip-out vest. There are well-placed zipper vents which allow a good amount of air flow in warmer riding conditions. The included shoulder and elbow body armor is top notch. Contrary to other reviewers who don't like the leopard print lining, I love it. I think it gives the jacket an edgy yet feminine flair. Far better than lots of pink swirly stuff on the outside of the jacket in my opinion. For me, the only issue is sizing. My textile jacket is a size Small and is a little big even with the armor. I got an Extra Small in the leather and it's quite snug with the armor but just right without the armor. (I am 5'7" and 120 lbs) We'll see how it breaks in. I do appreciate the sleeve length which for me is just right and doesn't leave my wrists exposed when in the riding position. Overall I think Speed & Strength products are nicely designed, give women some fun choices that are both stylish and protective, and provide good bang for the buck.

This is a super versatile piece of riding gear that can actually be used off the bike, too (like at a fall football game). The vest has four heat settings or you can simply wear it without the battery being connected if you are warm enough. I have found that I need fewer layers and feel less like "The Abominable Snowman" when I'm riding in the cold if I have on my Mobile Warming Vest. Additionally, it is plenty stylish and has a nice front that appears to be some sort of wind stopper material. All in all, one of the best "bang for the buck", useful articles of riding gear that I've purchased in some time.

Wonderful helmet! I already had a Shoei RF-1100 and like the Qwest better. It seems a tad more quiet and (for me) it fits better. Also, the venting system is better for the type of riding I do which is more cruiser/touring and therefore a more upright position. The graphics are beautiful and the fit and finish of the whole product is wonderful. And, as usual, Revzilla's service is great, too!

I really like these riding "boots" which are much more Converse-looking. They are more protective than meets the eye, and they are very comfortable. The sole provides decent but not the best traction. Be advised that these shoes run quite large. I typically wear shoes in size 7 1/2 to 8 but the European size conversion says a size 7 for the pair I wound up with. I had to send back the first pair and wait for several weeks for a size smaller to come back in stock. Unfortunately, when they came back in stock they were more expensive by $20 which dropped my "bang for the buck" rating.

This product caught my eye because I was looking for a full-face helmet to wear while riding my Triumph Thruxton cafe racer. It has great style but better yet is a very lightweight, protective helmet. The big pluses are the very wide field of vision, the low weight, and the choice of colors/designs. I highly recommend the XR1R!

I have to disagree with the negative reviews of this boot. I think it's great! The ankle padding hits in just the right place. The fit is spot on. And the boots are very comfortable. Plus they are super styling' and very feminine unlike my Harley boots. I wear the Hella's when I ride my cafe racer. The higher wedge heel is the key to me being flat-footed on my Triumph. My only complaint is that the sole of the heel needs to be made of a more grippy material; it tends to be a bit slippery. Wonderful boot!

This is a very comfortable and stylish jacket with good workmanship and detailing. I love the side lacing system which allows you to adjust the waist. The zippered and velcro cuffs are also a nice touch. This jacket could be somewhat better vented (I live in Arizona), but the additional windbreaker style liner is a welcome addition to make the jacket more versatile when the temps drop. It definitely runs a full size small. I typically wear a small and ordered a medium based on multiple reviews stating the same.

These battery-operated heated gloves are easy to use and eliminate the need to be "wired to your bike". They are somewhat bulky, however, as one would expect winter gloves to be. It's difficult to change the battery percentage setting once you have the gloves on. But they work great for keeping your hands warm while riding your motorcycle. Which is the point!
