The SMH10-11 can be mounted to a Mag 9 Sena helmet, however, you would not use the recessed area for the unit. Additionally, you would still have a partial boom microphone with the SMH10-11, since the fully wired microphone would not work on anything but a full face helmet. Essentially, the SMH10-11 comes with two microphones, one of which has a boom on the front half, a circular disk in the middle, and a wire on the back half. The disk would get wedged behind the cheekpad, and the boom would then come out from there. You may consider the SMH10R as an alternative.
