Venture Heat 12V Heated Carbon Gloves The Venture 12V Heated Carbon Gloves combined style, warmth, and performance together to create a motorcycle glove you are sure to enjoy. On the inside is 3M Thinsulate insulation and a waterproof membrane to keep your hands warm and dry. To turn on the heat, simply touch the on-board temperature controller and enjoy 3 different heat settings. These heated motorcycle gloves will keep your fingers warm for as long as you can ride. If you need to pull over and take a call, the touch screen capabilities allow you to use your phone without having to take your gloves off. The heating elements are carefully positioned around the perimeter of the hand to allow warmth to be circulated throughout your hand giving the comfort and protection you need. This great looking glove is made with premium leather and has built-in gel pads as well as a carbon fiber knuckle guard for ultimate comfort and protection. Venture 12V Heated Carbon Gloves are powered by the existing battery of your motorcycle and will provide heat as long as you're on the road. Simply connect the harness to the terminals on the battery and run the coax cable underneath the body leaving the connector plug exposed. This non-intrusive configuration allows you to maintain the same look and feel to your bike without cables interfering. Pair the Venture Heat 12V Gloves with the Venture Heat 12V Heated Jacket Liner or wear them on their own using the included Y-Splitter Cable. Features Built-in temperature controller Waterproof membrane Touch screen compatible Gel pads on pals Carbon fiber knuckle protection Flexible, ultra-thin micro fiber heating element Form-fitting cut to maximize amount of heat transfer 2.2 amps 12 volt DC power Exterior made from leather and nylon 3M Thinsulate insulation Poly fleece liner Included 1 pair 12V heated carbon gloves 1 coax y-splitter cable 1 battery harness with safety fuse kit Note As a safety feature, if your motorcycle is outputting greater than 14 volts, it may cause the gloves to turn off. To prevent this, Venture Heat recommends first starting your motorcycle then plugging in the gloves. It should be noted that many motorcycles will operate at 14V, so it is recommended to check the voltage output of your bike before ordering.

Works brilliantly, but controls fiddly.

I love these gloves but find it often take several tries to get them to switch on.
I bought them because my Olympia X-Moto Jacket* keeps me warm enough so I didn't need a heated vest, so these gloves saved the cost and bulk of a separate controller.
* Currently on sale at Revzilla.
I have used the gloves down to 0c / 32F

Nolan N104 Voyage Helmet Nolan N104 Helmets represent an evolutionary step for Nolan as they replace the much touted N103 Helmet. When compared the older N103, the Nolan N104 Helmet offers a helmet which is much lighter (7oz), features a lower profile through the use of multiple shell sizes, better aerodynamics, as well as a much larger viewport for increased visibility. The (patented) chin guard rotation movement with elliptical trajectory makes it possible to keep the total size of the helmet's front section to a minimum, when the chin guard is open. The sail effect is consequently highly reduced and riding comfort is still guaranteed, even when the chin guard is lifted. The new ultrawide eyeport is the largest of any Nolan helmet, both vertically and laterally for maximum field of view. The AIRBOOSTER ventilation system is equipped with an air intake in the chin bar, another intake in the brow and two rear extractors at the rear. The inner comfort lining includes removable cheekpads, inner liner, neckroll and chin curtain and is easily removable and washable as well as antifungal and antibacterial. New, redesigned comfort liner also accommodates eyeglasses much more easily than before. All Nolan N104 helmets are also N-COM B4 ready ( N-COM B4 is designed expressly for the N104 and is sold separately). Shell Features Injected polycarbonate GE Lexan shell 7oz lighter than the Nolan N103 Two Shell engineering allows Nolan N104 to offer sizes from 2XS to 3XL (2XS-LG and XL-3XL) Dimensionally correct sizing allows ample cubic volume in chin/nose area Faceshield Features Face shields are now sized to fit the two different shell sizes (2XS-LG and XL-3XL) Ultra wide eye port opening is the largest on any Nolan helmet for superior visibility Shield is changed by a simple push button mechanism Pinlock shield included with each helmet VPS (Vision Protection System) is new slider bar to lower, push button release for instant retraction VPS lens is scratch and fog resistant Chin Bar Features Centromatic chin guard opening mechanism requires dual action, simultaneous action to prevent accidental opening Dual action opening mechanism is positioned in the centre of the chin guard and allows for easy, one-handed opening Ventilation N104 has new AIRBOOSTER ventilation system, ensures optimal ventilation where is is most required Air intake in the chin guard draws air in and onto the inside of the faceshield 3 position top vent (closed, crown vent, crown/brow vent) 2 venturi exhaust ports at rear of helmet New plastic vent tube channels in EPS disperse cool air throughout the helmet interior Inner Liner Features removable cheek pads, inner liner, neck roll and wind protector The inner padding of the new N104 is easily removable and washable and antibacterial The shape of the inner comfort padding facilitates eyeglass wearing Reflective insert at the centre of the roll neck further improves the rider's visibility at night Neck roll can be removed easily, for more comfort in the warmer months Other Features N-Com Communication System compatible (sold separately) Features new Microlock2 quick-release retention system Microlock2 consists of a plastic ergonomic opening lever, and of a second aluminium toothed and holding lever Microlock2 minimizes the possibility of unintentional opening while still making it ergonomic and easy to use Meets or exceeds D.O.T. standards

Just finished a 4 day trip of 9 - 10 hour days and found this everything I had hoped for.
No need to remove the helmet to speak to people / take a drink / have a snack, etc. It was so comfortable I didn't take it off during brief stops such as refueling.
No noisier than my previous premium full face helmet.
Completely waterproof during drenching rain at full highway speed (more than I can say about the rest of my gear). :(
Airflow was adequate, but not tested in hot weather.
Durability not tested as I have only had it a month. So far it is 'breaking in' nicely. For example when brand new I had to remove my glasses, now I can leave them on to put on / remove the helmet.
I love the ratchet chin strap. I had my doubts for a start but it is now one of my favorite features.
If it fits, buy it!
