I'm 5'9", 125lbs, and wear a size 29" to 30". I wanted to get some mesh pants that could either be worn alone or over some lightweight clothing (e.g., running clothes). I recently bought these and the small size fits guys with my build (slim and small). A good fit! I can't attest to how well it ventilates because it's not summer yet but I suspect it will be good because there is mesh in the front and back of the legs. I can slip these pants over a pair of slim fitting jeans just fine, but am not sure how well they'll go with looser (normal) fitting jeans because the calf area is a bit more snug. Overall though, a great pair of pants for the summer, especially for those of us who need to wear protective gear over running clothes (or other lightweight athletic clothing) when we ride to the park to go running.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I highly recommend this product. It beats any kind of anti-fog spray.

EVS Core Temperature Regulator Vest Keeping your inner temperature as low as possible during extreme fitness us always challenging. The EVS Core Temperature Regulator (CTR) uses this strategically placed layers of Super Absorbent Polymer that once saturated with water retain and slowly disperse to keep you cool for a longer period of time. Once the CTR jersey is soaked, spin dry by hand and then put the article on. The strategic sections will keep your core temperature down longer, allowing you to maximize your session.

How well does this product work in the extremely hot and humid weather in the South (or even in Philly) during the summer?

I've heard mixed stories about how well evaporative cooling vests work in hot and humid climates. Some say those kind of vests don't work well and some say it's fine. I wonder, which is it? Anyone have experience with this particular vest in that kind of climate?

Is all the armor removable?

Yes, the knee armour is removable. The hip pads are not. They are stitched in.

Protectint

Do you guys sell the Pinlock Protectint lenses for the CW-1 Shield?
I have directly contacted both Pinlock and Shoei USA. Shoei USA does NOT intend to import the Protectint lens for the CW-1 shield. They explain that the CW-1 shield blocks out 99% of UV rays, and since the Protectint lens requires UV rays in order to tint, that lens will not be effective with the CW-1 shield AT ALL.
