I love this jacket. I am 5'6", about 165 lbs, sort of broad shouldered, and the LG size that customer service recommended fits perfectly with both liners in. Adjustment straps let you snug it up to your liking. Lower arm zippers are great and my jacket came with snap closures that go over the zippers, so they don't open on their own (which others mentioned a problem with). Two large cargo pockets are a bit difficult to open with gloves on as they have no tabs to grab and the velcro goes almost right up to the edge. One inside pocket on left, also present in both liners. Could have used one or two more outer pockets, but zip down air flow openings (which are quite cool) prevent this I guess.
Anyway, minor squabbles. Love this jacket. Quite pricy, but build quality is awesome. It'll last a long time.
Yes, I recommend this product.

SAS-TEC Back Protector Cutting edge SAS-TEC material is intelligent armor constructed from visco elastic soft foam smart molecules. It has earned the highest CE rating available (CE level 2), during an impact, the armor freezes and hardens, absorbing the shock and distributing its force over a large area to reduce the risk of fractures. The protector is not destroyed by impact, but reverts back to its original state and maintains its capability to protect from multiple impacts. SAS-TEC Armor has a soft and pliable exterior (as opposed to rigid KNOX armor) which offers a great deal of comfort and mobility. This protector is anatomically designed and fitted to provide superior spine and back protection as well as the base of the neck /between the shoulder blades. SC-1/11 fits Women's Turbine Jacket SC-1/12 fits REV'IT! Cayenne Pro Jacket and Turbine Jacket REV'IT Gore-Tex Jackets have different shaped back protector pockets depending on the size of jacket, see the size chart for fitment information SC-1/16 should only be used for XYL or larger Gore-Tex Jackets SC-1/11 Measurements (approximate) Height 15 3/4 Width (at widest point) 13 Thickness 3/4 SC-1/12 Measurements (approximate) Height 19 Width (at widest point) 13 Thickness 3/4 SC-1/16 Measurements (approximate) Height 21 3/8 Width (at widest point) 13 3/8 Thickness 3/4

Got this to replace the flimsy foam that comes with the Sand jacket. This feels like it will do a great job protecting me, and as others have said, once you're riding you barely feel it's there. Was easy to cut using a sharp knife following recommendation in video (use foam to trace outline, etc.) Bit snug getting it back in the pocket, but worked out fine.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I want to start off by saying the pants are great. Comfortable, armor in right places, looks good, zippers for ventilation, etc. Liners are easy to take out and put back in, just like Anthony shows in the video. They are warm with the liners in: rode about 2 hrs in high 30s to low 40s wearing thermal underwear under the pants and did not feel cold at all. No ride in the rain yet, so can't comment there, but they look like they'll do just fine in wet weather (caveat below, though).
Only issue (and perhaps I should have returned them, but I'd already taken a ride) is sizing. I am 5'6", about 165lbs and wear jeans size 32 waist, 30 leg, to give you an idea of my body shape. I ordered the Large/Short size, based on the sizing chart info and customer service advice. With the waist straps tightened all the way and both liners in, the pants fit very well around waist/seat area. This doesn't leave me much flexibility however (when both liners are out, I wont be able to snug them up) and makes me wonder if I should have ordered the medium (my usual go to size).
The real issue however is the length of the leg: sitting on the bike, the armor shifts up a bit and seats nicely over my knees, no problem there. However, and I only observed this once I actually started riding, hence too late to return them :( , the pants ride way up my boot, more than halfway up, which aside from looking a bit silly, makes me worry what will happen when I ride in the rain. Thankfully the nice triple velcro straps at the bottom of the pant legs allow me to tighten them up, so I don't get TOO much air flying up my legs, but it still bothers me.
Bit long winded, but I wanted to help anyone looking into getting these as best I could. In summary, if I were to order these again (which I would, they're awesome), I would likely order the MED/Regular size instead of the LG/Short.
Yes, I recommend this product.
