Was skeptical about the install as my helmet is not set up specifically for Bluetooth like my friend's Nolan.
The control unit is on the left side and the battery is dead center on the back. Wires are tucked up nicely into the padding.
The speakers were the hardest part of the install as they don't have a 'nook' to fit into in my helmet. I placed them BEFORE attaching the Velcro to the helmet inner shell. It took a few tries to get them where I think they sound the best. Then, I peeled down the inner cheek pad and attached the Velcro. They won't be moving at all now.
The Velcro that holds the bits and pieces on is very strong. I used alcohol to wipe down the helmet first and they are on there for good now I assume.
Sound quality is what I would expect from these speakers. Not a lot of base but more than my ear buds and without the pressure of something touching my ear. What I did to make the sound better is go into my phone's mp3 player and in the equalizer settings I created one that is a bit heavy on the base and saved as "helmet". It's too much for the car stereo but perfect in the helmet.
My friend and I paired ours and the intercom is fantastic. We did have VOX enabled but if either of us sneezed or laughed or whatever while listening to music it connected the intercom. We feel it's better to just press the middle button when you want to start a conversation. The intercom stays active as long as you keep talking at least once every 20 seconds.
The headset paired quickly and flawlessly to my Samsung Note 2 so no worries there and it uses the same micro charger so that's a bonus.
I have no complaints about this product. : - )

I got these to replace (most of the time) my Alpinestars Ridge boots as I needed something taller to keep my pants tucked in.
These are about 12" tall and that's ideal for tucking my leather riding pants in. When I want to wear my pants over the boots I go back to my Alpinestars Ridge boots.
They have a side zip that keeps the boots on and a velcro wrap at the top to close the boot. Unlike the Ridge boots (reviewed elsewhere) the velcro on the top of these does not pop open when I take stairs, as the zipper does the holding closed.
So far they are comfortable but still need to break in a bit. I wore them today in 88 degrees for 45 minutes and my feet felt comfortable, no sweating.
I looked at a few other 12" boots of this style and bought some..only to return them after walking around the house. These I will be keeping :-)

These are very comfortable once they break in.
The fit is pretty spot on, wearing a pair of cotton socks. They are 8" tall so if you wear riding pants that tuck in, they will pop out as you ride. If you wear pants 'over' your boots, these are great.
One thing I don't like about them is that they stay closed with only velcro, no zipper. I find that as I walk, especially stairs, the velcro lets go and they flap open.
Other than that they are nice.

I usually don't buy gloves online as I like to try them on before buying. for some reason glove manufacturers like to cut the first two fingers nearly identical lengths, leading to excess on the pointer finger. These gloves don't have that problem.
I'm going to order another set in a different color too : - )

Do the speakers fit in pretty much all helmets?
I have an HJC IS-16 (full-face). There are little 'curtain's in the ear pockets and behind them maybe 1/4 inch of air before I get to the hard foam shell. Do the speakers fit this style helmet or do I need to get a BT specific helmet?

What are the dimensions of the battery pack ?
I own a Nolan N104 and was wondering if the Sena battery pack would fit in the space reserved for Nolan's B4 bluetooth battery pack at the rear of the helmet.
I can dig up the dimensions if you need but let me save us both the trouble.
My riding buddy has the Nolan N104 and both the speakers and battery fit into the supplied crevices perfectly. : - )
His helmet even has a specific channel for the boom mic to fit into. Sadly, it's on the right side and I if you want the controller on the left side the cables are stretched a bit but it does work.

Will the battery get in the way of my speed hump on my jacket?
I don't have a hump on any of my jackets or suits so I won't swear it won't. Does the hump hit the back of your helmet? I ask as the battery isn't much larger than a key fob for a car. I'll attach a photo.
The beauty of this system is you can place the battery anywhere you want. It has a long power cable. I put mine dead center on the back, at the bottom.

Does the battery goes on the inside or outside of the helmet?
If it's possible to place it inside, would I be able to use it in a Shoei X12 or an Arai Corsair V without feeling it on the back of the head?
Unless you have a specific 'nook' in your helmet you can put it on the outside. Most of the Bluetooth helmets I've seen have a space for it, as well as the speakers, but my HJC IS-16 did not.
Mine is attached to the bottom of the helmet, dead center on the back. It is about the size of my rectangular car key fob, if that makes sense. It has a reflective stripe on it so I assume it's designed to be on the outside.
