I got this jacket because I wanted something that was very protective but wasn't the flashy kind of jacket that makes you like like a racer or a power ranger. This jacket fits the bill perfectly. Looks and fits great. Also smells great. The liner is very warm and the cuffs are a nice touch. With the liner in, the jacket is very warm. With the liner out it flows air pretty well, and the vents do help a bit. One point down on durability because the jacket is faily new and the jacket/pants zipper is fraying a bit and will need to be repaired soon. Also, despite how awesome the jacket is, given the the price you can't really call it a good value considering that you can get other jackets with identical features and protection for way less money. However they won't look as good. Especially the dark brown; it looks very unique. I get compliments all the time.
Yes, I recommend this product.

What are the best pants to go with this jacket?

I love the brown color, but I'm having a hard time envisioning what Dainese was planning for this jacket. Is it just the new kevlar jeans?
I wear it with Dainese SF pants. I have the dark brown (love it) I was worried it would clash with the black pants, but it actually works really well. Or I sometimes wear it with kevlar jeans which obviously work well also.
