Dainese D6 Kevlar Jeans Features Denim fabric with woven with Kevlar yarn Internal reinforcements with Kevlar jersey by knees Belt loops 5 outer pockets Reflective details on rear of jeans and under back of cuffs Denim with Kevlar Panel D6 version also available
When I first got these I was kind of disappointed seeing that there was no Kevlar sewn into the seat of the pants like there was in the knee. I went back online and did some research, found out that they make two versions of the D6 jeans, one is a denim version and one is a kevlar version. So these being the kevlar version I think there is actually kevlar woven into the denim, so if I am correct than I feel a better about my purchase in knowing that these are not like other kevlar jeans that are made of just a standard denim fabric and that they will hopefully hold up a bit in a slide and protect my rear from road rash.
As for fit, they are awesome, really comfortable and true to size. I like that the back rides up a bit higher so it helps cover your crack from showing in the riding position. Nice slim fit, straight leg design, 34 in" long so it's perfect in the riding position. I love the design, it's the whole reason I bought them in the first place, every other motorcycle specific jeans out there look like mom jeans and are super baggy compared to these, I have no problem putting them over my boots as well. The only problem I have with them is that the front pockets are a bit short/small so it's not comfortable for me to keep my phone in my pocket in the ride position, not a big deal, I carry it in my jacket pocket now.
