Pictures don't do this helmet justice!!! Looks just awesome in person! The brightness on the colors make it almost an effective high visibility without being the typical hi viz yellow. Have had some issues with fogging when it was 30 degrees out. But you can manage and if needed there are the pin lock options, I might consider buying that.
The fit is snug, but probably because I have always been wearing a helmet one size too large. I was very concerned with the snug fit, because I was worried it could be too tight!! But the guys at Revzilla were awesome and even looked at pictures on my head shape and measurements I emailed them. That was amazing customer service! They were right, after just wearing it to work five times with a commute of 30 minutes each way, it doesn't feel too tight at all.
I haven't been able to try it in the heat, but with the temps up to 50 on my commute home, I opened up the top vents, and wow it vents!!!
Highly recommend!!!

I purchased this jacket to commute to work from VA to DC in the cold months on a 2003 Yamaha R6. Style is great! Fit is great. One negative - the zelcro on the neck and the wrist is not that great - kind of hard to velcro the wrists with winter gloves - wish they they made it more velcro around the wrist - and the same thing with the velcro on the neck. But you can live with it. The warmth is great!!! I wore it on my highway commute as high speeds with a windchill of around freezing and little below - and was warm without anything under it other than a work shirt.
Unfortunately, I did recently crash test it - I had my back tire slide out on a turn - going maybe 30-40 mph. I made contact with the cement on my left shoulder and elbow - and slide a little while. The armour saved my shoulder and elbow 100% - the shoulder/elbow did rip/shred a little - but just a little - the stiching on the zipper on the vent on ripped too a little - but it kept my skin away from the cement. The one thing that happen was my elbow got slammed into my ribs and bruised them - wish they would add some padding there. But I can't complain - as I walked away and actually was able to ride home (a crash cage I put on the bike years ago saved the bike). Looking to see if Alpinestars can repair the jacket - but if not, I will be buying another one!
As for purchasing from Revzilla - this was my first time - and all I can say is it was perfect - already purchased my new helmet from them that I needed after the little get off.

 REV'IT! Turbine Jacket
REV'IT! Turbine Jacket
The TURBINE is a must-have for the everyday rider looking for a premium protective summer mesh jacket. The goal in developing the Turbine was to create a 'bomb-proof' mesh jacket. With Pro-Life armor for impact resistance, and SuperFabric on the impact areas, the Turbine Jacket is the choice for those wanting the breathability of a lightweight summer mesh jacket, but who in the past have been nervous about the protective qualities of mesh PROTECTION FEATURES Outer Shell Dynax mesh, Cordura 1000D, PWRshell 500D, PWRshell 750D, SuperFabric, Lorica reg Composition outer shell 98 polyamide, 2 other fibres Lining 100 polyester Protection Pro-Life CE (level 1) protection at shoulders and elbows, SuperFabric on impact areas and perforated Temperfoam at back Visibility laminated reflection at chest and back Recommended Upgrade SAS-TEC SC-1/12 Back Protector (not included) Pocket fits SC-1/12 size SAS-TEC Back Protector All Men's Turbine Jackets have the same size back protector pocket ERGONOMIC FEATURES Fit tour fit, regular Adjustability UTA tab at cuffs, flexisnap XL, adjustment straps at hips, adjustment tabs at upper and under arms Ventilation ventilation panels at chest, back and arms Features collar hook, stretch lips at elbows, long connection zipper and double short connection zipper Pockets slit pockets, membrane storage pocket, inner pockets Please Note The Turbine Jacket does not include a wind/waterproof layer as noted in the 2009 catalog, the specs changed after the catalog went to print. NOTE Turbine Jacket runs 1 size larger compared to other REV'IT Jackets and to what the size charts indicate. So if you measure up to be a size 52, you should go with a 50 instead.

Airflow of Turbine vs Airwave vs Ignition 2

How does the airflow compare on the Airwave, Turbine, and Ignition 2? I know there are a lot of differences in the level of protection, but I am curious if I am trying to wear it 90 degree and up if there is much difference in these jackets.
