I ordered the DLX Wayfarer Green for my Custom-500 Lace graphic helmet... YEAH BABY!
IT's THICK! Thicker than either my wife's Shoei RF-1000, or my Arai Sig-Q shield.
IT's GREEN! Very Green...
I thought the bubble would have some distortion but surprisingly, very little, only a bit around the edges, and nothing noticeable when I'm riding. I wear glasses, and putting the helmet/shield on is easy while wearing them, but it's a little tricky adjusting them 'just right', after the helmet is on.
I wear it on my Suzuki TU-250X, In 90'F heat just after raining, not only does it not fog, but in upright riding actualy vents quite nicely. It lets in just a little more air than my HJC IS-33, but I had no issues with wind in my eyes. I'm not sure how it will be with contacts yet. On a neutral-sitting position bike, it's hard to get a 'tuck', but I do have what I call my 'Assault Position', which I need to assume to go past 65mph, In that riding position at 80mph, there was no wind coming through the shield at all. That was pleasantly surprising. As I live in the country, bugs are a serious issue, and the shield comes down low enough to cover my chin. Perfect!
So, no more "bobble headed old guy on a Goldwing look", as my wife used to say. It's definately retro cool!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Bell Custom 500 Skratch Lace Helmet Any good designer is an artist and the artist in Roy Richter would definitely appreciate the custom inspired graphics that Skratch has lent to his iconic 500 design. The helmet's super reflective colors and lace design give a unique touch to the familiar open face profile. All the Bell Custom 500 Helmets pay homage not only to Richter's original 1954 design aesthetic but to modern protective technology. Combining a custom fiberglass layup with a specially designed EPS foam layer enabled Bell engineers to craft a helmet that is at once light weight, narrow in profile, and DOT-compliant. Add the inspired graphics and some chrome trim and you have one sweet retro lid. Features Custom fiberglass shell Custom-quilted liner Chrome trim Integrated snaps for aftermarket shields and visors Padded chin strap with D-ring closure and strap keeper Five-year warranty Certification DOT Approximate weight 880g

I wanted a helmet I could wear on my TU-250X, that was, a bit more....cool looking? ...While my IS-33 is a great helmet, it just doesn't....ZIP! My wife says I'm a "bobble headed old guy on Goldwing" type. NOT COOL MAN!
So, enter the Bell 500 Lace , add the DLX green bubble shield and it's a whole new look!
My usual helmet is an Arai Sig-Q, and knowing that the Bell-500 has a very round fit. instead of my usual SMALL, #My head is 56.5cm's#, I got the MEDIUM, good choice. It just fits front to back, but yeah, it's roomy on the sides. This lets in ALOT of air when worn open-face, and not wearing earplugs is not an option for me. The chin strap is really long, but the snaps folds it up enough that it's no bother.
For wearing on my 250; Yeah..YEAH! That's the ticket! YEAH! :)

The weather here in Florida has been bizarre, so over the last 2 months I've rode with these in drizzle, and temps from 38'F to 87'F. I'm one of those guys who has fitting issues with every type of riding gear, these pants included. My inseam to ankle is about 32.5, and I have a 32” waist-can wear a 31' jean. I ordered the medium-long. So here's my review:
It's hard to design something that does EVERYTHING, and these pants ALMOST do that.
Out of the box there were long threads that need trimming, nad as other reviewers have said and suggested, there's ALOT OF ZIPPERS, and it's really best to sit down and learn how everything fits together.
Cold riding:
Usually I layer up so I had a pair of light thermals or sweatpants over my jeans, and with the thermal liner in, they fit great! I had enough play to easily mount up my Ducati M.S. Which has a seat height of almost 34 inches. The pants fit correctly while riding ,at about the ankle, and didn't ride up. They were very warm, except for a slight draft at the bottom. #The thermal layer isn't quite full length and my jeans ride up a bit.# No complaints- THEY'RE GRREEAATT!! lol
Warmer riding:
Wearing these with the vent panels off over jeans at just above 80'F was very warm! At 85', I just wore boxers underneath and found the airflow to be excellent! The knee area on bare skin is a little rough, but not bothersome. In drizzle, the outer shell repelled water enough that the rain layer wasn't needed, so I haven’t ridden with it.
For some reason though, the more these pants were stripped down, the more they rode up! Even over my boots- #tac-boots# They're not long enough for me when riding in warmer weather.
Issues with quality:
The Hook/loop #Velcro# around the ankle cuffs is too thin, and it sometimes takes a couple tries to get a good hold.
The stitching needs improvement! #That's why I gave 3 stars# The material that holds the D ring for the right side TPR pull to cinch the waist is tearing, and the other doesn't look too hot either. I'm sending them in Warranty R/R.
A little better Q/C would go a long way.
These fit my wife a bit better than me, so she skunked em.
I'm going to be looking for something a bit longer.

The good:
Top fits easily under my Signet-Q without much skull crush
The front/neck is a bit thicker and works to about the middle 30'sF
Scrunches down enough to fit into my jacket pockets
Not so good:
Neck is rather short and fiddly to tuck into my jacket collar
The vision opening is more round and has almost no perepheral view.
If I needed to wear it more often, I'd get something with a wider oval opening, but this onel works in a pinch.

My first High School Auto Shop teacher ground 2 things into my skull:
1: Read the book and/or instructions first!
2: If you're wrenching on it that hard kiddo, you're already doing something wrong.
I installed this on a 2012 Multistrada. It doesn't interfere with OEM panniers.
While the instructions for this are spartan, really being no more than a parts list and exploded diagrams, if you ever enjoy(ed# putting together Japanese anime/mecha,#Gundam#, models; you can do this! :#
Total install time was about 30min with a little more for me running back and forth to the tool box.
Included is a bright yellow sheet that specifically says to test fit all bracket parts before tightening anything down! The fact that the sheet is yellow should be a clue to definitely READ IT!
That's exactly what I did, not quite finger tightening things only and everything did indeed line up as it should, including the plastic mounting plate. #potty training seat- :D), symmetrically, with no issues at all. I then proceeded to tighten down the mounts and then installed the plate. If you use wrench I recommend a shorter one, and only a ¼ driver if using a 10mm socket.
I used a 10mm nut driver, and 2 Allen wrenches, a 4mm, and a 5mm. I may have used a third, can't remember, but I know those two are needed.
I can't comment on durable it is yet, because I won't decide that for a year or more. It's definitely sturdy, just don't let a toddler mistake it for a training seat.. lol #It really doesn't look that bad...)

I have a 56.5cm head and a SMALL Signet-Q and had trouble with the breath deflector ending up on or under my nose sometimes at higher speeds and winds. After a call and a chat with Revzilla, I ordered the 10mm liner. This tightened the fit and lifted the helmet just a bit more on my head. Now, the overall fit is much better, and the deflector at high speeds rides just over my nose. It's also still very comfortable for long touring rides.

Arai Signet-Q Helmet - Solid Colors The Signet-Q takes all the favorite features of the RX-Q and create a whole new series based on all the successes. On the outside, the Arai Signet-Q Helmet looks very similar to it's namesake, the RX-Q, but on the inside you can see and feel the difference. A longer shell shape on the Arai Signet-Q Helmet gives 5mm more space front to back allowing for a larger number of heads to fit comfortably. The shape of the Arai Signet-Q Helmet releases forehead pressures and eliminate hot spots for a more comfortable fit every time. This shape works best for riders with a long oval headshape. Additional Features of the Arai Signet-Q Helmet Both the top vent set and side exhaust cowls are direct carryovers from the RX-Q Brow vent ducting redirects to flow air across the temples DDL-4 exhaust vent to the 10mm wider eye port (5mm on each side) Long Oval Fit SAI MAX-Vision Brow Vent shield Clear Pin Lock Max-Vision Brow Vent pinlock lense included. Elongated shell adds 5mm from front to back Long-Oval shape helps prevent Hot-Spot Multi-Density Single piece EPS liner Removable, replaceable, washable interior Dry-Cool Surface material for rapid displacement of heat and moisture away from your head and into the ventilation airflow for added comfort while riding and a quick dry between rides 5mm peel-away temple pads adds another level of customization, giving the helmet interior a little extra width when needed Enhanced for customizable micro fitment interior without the need to purchase extra interior components New FCS (Facial Contour Support) cheek pad design Innovative and exclusive spring support adds just the right amount of pressure when needed while being worn Meets or exceeds Snell and D.O.T. standards

I had tried on a lot of helmets, before I tried an RXQ and liked it. BUT, it was a bit round requiring me to move up to a medium form a small to fit front to back. A Revzilla associate recommended I try a SIGNET-Q, so I ordered one site unseen. (My head measures 56.5cm's)
WOW! I was surprised by how wide the vision was, and add to that the included max view PIN-LOCK shield/lens and this is something! The ventilation is outstanding, thus far as it's not in the 90'sF yet, I don't even use them all. The chin spoiler works nicely to curb occasional lower booming noise and deflecting cold air below my jacket collar. Buttoned up, it's quite warm. The liner spreads the weight all around my head so it's very well balanced with no hotspots. The cheek pads were tight, so I pulled that thinner removable layer, and now they're about perfect. Although I haven't worn it for more than 2 1/2 hour stretches, I now have well over 1000 miles with it on.
Quirks:
OK, the chin strap padding really is a bit short.
I had trouble with the breath deflector ending up on or under my nose sometimes, at higher speeds and winds, but after another call to Revzilla, and ordering the 10mm liner, and all is now well.
I'm glad I saved extra money to afford a SIGNET-Q. It's well worth it.

I ordred the plain SAI to use for 90% of my riding with the Signet-Q. It seals better against the temple inlet ports, doesn't have the posts in my perepheral view or pressing against the port gasket. There's no cutout lines for the pinlock insert cluttering up my view. It also fits tighter and stays put in any position I lift it to.
Having the plain shield, and a dedicated pinlock shield, allows me to leave the pinlock shield set to go. it only takes seconds to switch whole shields-much easier to do.
While it fogs more than the pinlock OEM, it still fogs much less & clears faster than the face shields of several other helmets I've had over the years. It does seem a bit less resisitant to scratching then other brands, however. I've gotten a couple in the last month from BIG-BUGS. Time will tell further on durability.
