REVIT Seesoft Back Protector Insert The revolutionary new REVIT See Soft CE-Level 2 back protector is designed to absorb multiple impacts without compromising on comfort, ventilation or freedom of movement. The highly impact-resistant blend of Nitrille and Polynorbornene rubber results in a memory foam that is multi-impact rated and CE Certified to the highest level of prEN 1621-22010 level 2. In the case of severe angular impact, the individual Memory Foam layers will shift relative to one another, resulting in impact dispersion over a larger effective surface area and therefore minimizing the energy that is transmitted to the spine and back. The Seesoft back protector performs extremely consistently in all weather conditions and is unaffected by temperature ranges from -4 F to +104 F (-20 C to +40 C). Most REV'IT jackets are designed to accommodate a Seesoft CE Level 2 back protector insert. Newer jackets will have a marking on the protector pocket that indicates the matching type and size of the protector. For additional information, please see the Seesoft Back Protector Insert Fit Chart (pdf) .

Bought this to go with GTR air jacket. Does not add much bulk. Would be nice to know the force rating that it can take, like forcefield provides with their back protectors. Not expecting trackday like protection with this insert, but a rating would be good!

REVIT GT-R Air Textile Jacket This summer sport bike jacket is cool all the way through. The REVIT GT-R Air Jacket breathes well, comes with built-in safety features and is smartly styled to boot. The outer shell features large 3D air mesh-panels for ventilation, and stretch areas on the elbows to allow for a comfortable forward seating position. For hot summer days a Challenger cooling vest can be zipped in. Thanks to CE armor at the elbows and shoulders riders are protected against impact, and an easily upgraded back protector further enhances safety. Purchased this to replace my 5 year old revit air jacket. So impressed with the better features. 2 inside pockets, which is a huge plus for wallet and cell. No more annoying Velcro sleeve cinches like the air jacket, just zipper and button closures, which I don't even have to loosed to get the jacket on/off if I'm just in a shirt sleeve. It's a lost faster getting geared up for a ride. Armor feels secure and snug. Definitely pay the extra $50 and get the revit back protector; makes the jacket feel much safer. Airflow? Pretty good having tested it into the mid 80's temperature wise. Works well in conjunction with my 5 year old rotor pants but planning on an eventual upgrade to current revit mesh pant.

Bought this primarily for commuting back and forth to work. Very comfortable, excellent adjustment features. Manage to fit work clothes, dress shoes, lunch, and smaller items pretty easily. Can get a bit noticeable with heavier loads but that doesn't happen often enough. Still prefer using tailbacks us10 and us20 for weekend rides so my upper body is free. But for commuting when getting on and off bike quickly is important (when trying to beat cage traffic every second counts) cannot beat a backpack. Thank goodness for Kriega and their hardcore british motorcyclist designers!

Had a pair of the old "race" version but rev it doesn't seem to make them anymore. The "tour" version seems pretty darn close though. Comfortable, supportive. Great for weekend rides, trackdays. Lost count on how many trackdays I did on my last pair before I had to finally retire them.

Very comfortable and unobtrusive to feeling handlebar controls. Not much break in time required. Good cold weather protection to about 38 degrees. I did a commute in 36 degree temperature and my hands were very numb in about 30 minutes. Any consistent commuting/riding in the mid to upper 30's you're better off with electric gloves anyway. So from 38 to 50 these gloves are perfect. Webbikeworld rates these better than the Tempest, and 30 bucks cheaper to boot. Having tried both I think the Kelvins are superior to the Tempests. Just try them on somewhere first, I'm usually a medium and had to get a large.
