Very comfortable and unobtrusive to feeling handlebar controls. Not much break in time required. Good cold weather protection to about 38 degrees. I did a commute in 36 degree temperature and my hands were very numb in about 30 minutes. Any consistent commuting/riding in the mid to upper 30's you're better off with electric gloves anyway. So from 38 to 50 these gloves are perfect. Webbikeworld rates these better than the Tempest, and 30 bucks cheaper to boot. Having tried both I think the Kelvins are superior to the Tempests. Just try them on somewhere first, I'm usually a medium and had to get a large.
Yes, I recommend this product.

REVIT Sand 2 Jacket Those looking for a jacket to wear on an around-the-world trip need look no further than the REVIT Sand 2. The already popular Sand jacket has been improved with a bevy of innovative new features. The jacket features adjustable VCS zippers that increase ventilation by 200 percent over the originalplus, it has a wind-catcher feature integrated into the zipper for even greater airflow. The jacket is compatible with both Leatt and MOVEO neck brace systems, the latter of which conveniently stays attached when taking the jacket on and off. The Sand 2 also comes with a connection zipper. This makes it easy to connect the jacket with compatible REVIT! trousers and eliminates any gap that would allow water to creep in. With the inner membrane removed, the outer shell can be upgraded with a Challenger cooling vest insert. The Sand 2 comes with CE shoulder and elbow protection and integrated reflective panels for nighttime visibility. PROTECTION FEATURES Outer shell PWRshell 500D, polyester rib, polyester 600D, PWRwax 1200D, Lorica Insulation detachable thermal liner Waterproofing detachable hydratex 3L (5000mm H2O) Breathability detachable hydratex 3L (7000g/m2/24hrs) Composition Outer shell 52 polyester, 48 polyamide (colour 1500 64 Polyamide, 36 Polyester) Lining 67 polyester, 33 polyamide Thermal liner 99 polyamide, 1 polyester (insulation 100 polyester) Membrane 100 polyurethane (tricot 100 polyamide) Protection Prolife CE protection at shoulders and elbows, fully perforated EVA foam at back, prepared for Seesoft CE-level 2 back protector insert - type RV Visibility laminated reflection at chest, upper arms and back, laminated reflective logo at back, reflective logo at upper arms ERGONOMIC FEATURES Fit tour fit, regular Adjustability UTA tab at cuffs, flexisnap, double adjustment straps at waist, adjustment strap at under arm, adjustment tab at upper arm, adjustment drawcord at hips Ventilation VCS I zippers at front, chest, back and under arms Features prepared for Challenger Cooling vest insert, prepared for Leatt and Moveo neck brace, prepared for Vest Connector HV, hydra bag prepared, long and double short connection zipper Pockets stash pockets, membrane storage pocket, hand warmer pockets, inner pockets

Could the Sand 2 jacket/pant be worn on a sportbike, or is strictly adventure touring with upright ergos?

TCX R-S2 Boots TCX's new top of the line Race Boot. Precise Air Fit System The exclusive P.A.F.S. system used in the new R-S2 offers motorcyclists a revolutionary precise t system that can be personalized depending on the specic foot shape and guaranteed by the inner volume adjustment system. Can be personalized depending on the shape of the foot and the level of performance required. The Precise Air Fit System housed inside the boot gives a practical and fast t that can be adjusted by closing the zip and Velcro as well as by simply inating the air chamber. The air chamber, if inated correctly, completes the boots safety features (represented by T.C.S. and M.C.S.), protecting the instep and shinbone in the event of impact. Race Performance Footbed The RACE PERFORMANCE insole is made from expanded, light and highly breatheable polyurethane and is tted with a polyurethane gel insert in the heel area to absorb vibrations and deaden impact. Its special design features differing thicknesses and respects the anatomy of the arch of the foot, the forefoot and the heel, allowing correct distribution of body weight and offering a high level of comfort even after prolonged use of the boot. Soft Pad Interior Padding The new inner padding is made from dual-component expanded polyurethane and shaped using a special molding process that prevents the material from deforming over time and gives it an anatomical memory that adapts to the shape of the ankle. The special shaping around the ankle and heel wraps the foot, preventing the bothersome undercutting effect of the boot. The feeling of comfort around the foot is enhanced by the presence of a Lycra lining injected directly onto the padding. Torsion Control System TCX - pioneers in anti-torsion systems applied to motorcycle footwear, presents the evolution of the international T.C.S. international patent, devised in 1999, to ensure natural movement of the foot and counteract excessive torsion of the ankle above natural levels. Today the system returns in a new garment that is more functional and aesthetically attractive due to the insertion of carbon ber injected into the polyurethane structure. The purpose of this carbon ber is to further reduce the weight of the boot, to increase the structural support of the system and to increase resistance to impact in the event of a fall. The Carbon frame version of the T.C.S. system is also enhanced with a new joint positioned at the top of the boot. This joint has been designed to increase exibility at the rear of the boot and allow the leg to return rapidly to the initial driving position. Metatarsal Control System The M.C.S system uses the same concept as T.C.S. and has been designed to control upward and downward bending of the metatarsal . This is achieved through two stopping points designed to prevent any lesions to the joint. Additional Features Polyurethane shin plate with iron mesh air intakes Polyurethane shift pad integrated in the sole Replaceable high-resistant alloy toe, rear and ankle sliders Polyurethane xed calf slider Anatomic mid sole with heel Shock Absorbing Foam

I am having a hard time deciding between the TCX R-S2 and Sidi ST. Which boot is the better all round choice?

My riding: commute to work daily on a sport bike, weekend rides, trackdays in spring and summer (advanced group). How much extra time would the motocross style buckles require on the ST's for on/off? Also, is the air venting adequate enough on the TCX? Comfort is a big issue, as well as ease of use. I've been a SIDI guy for the past 8 years, but I am willing to change brands if you feel the TCX's are a superior boot. Last thing, is sizing for TCX equivalent to SIDI? Thanks so much for your help.
