I bought this helmet in medium to replace a large Fly trekker, which is virtually the same helmet. The Medium AFX fits similar to the large Fly, but is based on a smaller shell and has shallower ear pockets. Having crashed hard in the Fly, I have confidence in the shell. The ratchet type retention system is easy to use with gloves on, but there is no D-ring to facilitate attaching it to a standard helmet lock.
Yes, I recommend this product.

How hard is it to change the visor?

This helmet looks really great but I am concerned with my ability to change the visor during a ride. Do you need a screw driver just to change the visor? Is it something that could be done on the side of the road? Being able to change from a tinted visor to a clear one at night is crucial for me. Thanks.
Changing visors requires a screwdriver or coin, and is a bit fiddly. Try a clear visor with a tinted half visor, they work great. http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/afx-fx-39-half-outer-sun-shield
