Nolan N43E Trilogy Solid Helmet New Features New Chinbar is extended for extra room and now can accept included chin curtain New Face shield now has intermediate open position, previous version was either opened or closed New locking pivot kit 6-in-1 design The New Nolan N43E Trilogy Helmet is a crossover design with quick-change accessories that allows for customized looks and functions for every ride. The helmet comes with the clear shield, the integrated sun shield, the peak and the removable chinbar. The Lexan chinbar is EPS lined and mounted with strong stainless-steel latches, so it passes the tests for full-face helmets of the European standard ECE-2205. VPS (Vision Protection System) features a short dark shield mounted on the inside of the helmet which moves independently from the face shield. It provides real eye protection and is also available in amber, light blue and light smoke as an accessory. The VPS is easily operated by a large rubber coated slider on the left side of the Nolan N43 . Features Quick-change shield is optically correct, UV-400 and fitted in an exceptionally large eyeport Includes a Pinlock antifog insert The short black peak can be installed in seconds instead of the clear shield Ready for the N-Com communication system Lightweight aerodynamic polycarbonate shell with built-in spoiler for improved stability Fully removable and washable Clima-Comfort liner is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and wicking Super-efficient JSW top vent with exhaust grid in the rear spoiler works in conjunction with the air channels along the crown Microlock (adjustable quick-release) retention system Velour chin-strap padding 3.6lbs with all accessories DOT Certified Notes Trilogy Solid, Trilogy Outlaw and Trilogy Voyage Helmets are identical except for the paint or graphics. Outlaw versions of Nolan Helmets have a sleeker look with more subtle Nolan logos. Though this helmet passes ECE testing in Europe, in the US it is DOT Approved only.

I am a year round, all weather rider, averaging nearly 25k miles/year. I normally have my half-helmet, 3/4 (no face shield), and full-face that I have to choose between. I was going on a 2 week trip in early March through FL/AL/TN/AR/MO/OK/TX/LA/MS with my girl friend. Space was limited so I needed one solution and thought I'd have to settle for a full face (normally used for extreme cold and long periods of rain).
After reading some reviews on this helmet I thought I'd take a chance, and I'm glad that I did. With the added kit to attach to the Harley radio/intercom system this helmet has been my single solution for every day riding. I normally ride with 3/4 open face mode, but when the rain comes out of no where, the chin bar and face shield don't take up much space on the bike and attach in seconds.
The face shield, especially in full-face mode, has the largest viewing area I've ever seen. I'm used to feeling like I'm looking out a tunnel in a full-face, but this Nolan helmet took away the claustrophobia and gives much more visibility.
In full-face mode the helmet is a little noisier than traditional helmets when the face shield is all the way down, but opening the face shield one small notch cut the noise down considerably. This also comes with an anti-fog liner that fits inside the face shield, and it works great! Days of heavy rain, cold outside temps, and I was still able to see clearly!
Ventilation seems to be about the same as all others...no better, but no worse either. The chin bar takes a little getting used to, and I've found it easier to put it on after I have the helmet on. The external shape of the helmet is a little different, but given the features of this helmet, I can overlook that. And the headset/microphone setup looks a lot better and works just as well as the external bolt-on that Harley sells (plus it can be configured for single ear-piece for those states/countries that only allow one speaker in the headset!)
There's only one feature of this helmet that I haven't tested, and God willing I never will!
Overall, this is a great helmet that I would recommend to everybody!
Yes, I recommend this product.

This is the second pair of these gloves that I've had, and highly recommend them! The water proof outer liner is attached to the wrist pocket so there's no chance of loosing it...I've even put it on while riding (NOT recommended!) When riding in extreme cold (sub-freezing) the gloves kept my hands warm and dry, and the water proof outer liner makes a great wind barrier and keeps in some of the heat.
I am an all weather, all season, rider. I typically ride through the midwest states in the winter.
Yes, I recommend this product.
