I was a little worried because I can be hard on boots, especially where my bike is concerned. It's winter right now in Philly and these boots not only fit comfortably but do a great job keeping my feet warm.
I wasn't aware that the laces were a single loop with a Velcro tab to adhere it to the tongue, but that's a great feature that gives me better control on the fit of the boot without relying solely on the clasps.
The boots feel rock solid and durable, and they look great.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Icon Women's Sacred Low Boots The Sacred low boot is a culmination of our painstaking approach to minimalist motorcycling footwear. The reduction of elements until only the bare essentials remain. The flat bottom unit provide a stable platform when astride the bike, but incorporates a svelte silhouette for maximum impact when off. Top grain leather uppers are constructed with a minimum of pattern lines adding to both comfort and a visual elegance. The integrated alloy heel plate provides increased coverage while alerting casual observers to your two-wheeled predilection. The Icon Sacred Low Boot needs none but delivers all. 6 top grain leather upper Low profile Icon outsole Custom molded metal heel plate Axialmetric steel shank Molded rubber shifter nubs YKK autolock zippers

How is the ankle protection?

Does the Sacred low incorporate any ankle protection features? Love the visual appeal, but I'm buying a boot for protection, you know? :-)
ankle support is pretty good. With the interior laces, you can tighten them as needed for a snug fit, and the out padding on the flap has extra leather on both the inside and outside for more protection, as well as textured leather on the inside of the boot to protect against the engine heat.
